It was clean and I had a comfortable stay.

Hiroki is a great host - very responsive and friendly! I had an issue with the shower (user error!) and Hiroki came along very quickly to resolve it. Made me feel very comfortable and accommodated for. The flat is a great place to stay for a weekend getaway - good amenities and lots of nice restaurants nearby. The castle is very close and you can also walk to the station in 20 mins. There are good bus connections nearby.

Our stay at Yamashita’s beautiful 100-year-old Japanese villa in Kyoto was the perfect way to end our 2 week vacation in Japan. The house is spacious, very clean, and well-equipped, perfect for our group of 12. It has everything you need and more. It has a serene garden, jacuzzi, and sauna—the kids especially loved the jacuzzi! Yamashita is an EXCEPTIONAL host—very warm, helpful, and accommodating. She drove us to supermarkets and places we wanted to go and even picked us up for a small fee. She prepared simple yet delicious breakfasts. She was quick to respond to messages and even guided us on using local buses. Though the house is a bit far from the touristy areas, the peace and quiet of Yamashita’s home made it the perfect retreat. It offered a more authentic and relaxing experience of Japan. I highly recommend Yamashita’s villa to anyone looking for comfort, culture, and outstanding hospitality. And to anyone looking for a truly memorable stay in a traditional Japanese home.

We had an amazing stay! The apartment was clean and felt like a traditional Japanese home. The communication with Fujisakura was always easy and quick. Would definitely recommend if you’re searching for a stay around Mount Fuji!

Really great place to stay. There was 4 of us and we were all very comfortable. Lovely bathroom, shower kitchen etc. We had a car so easy to get to attractions. The space was also just a 10 minute walk to a family restaurant and supermarket. Beautiful riverside walk, is just behind the accomadation, and walking to the old town is also very near. We were warned that the stairs were steep, so we were expecting them to be much steeper than they were - they are similar to our stairs at home!

It was nice that the bedroom was spacious and beautiful, and the futon was fluffy.Thank you very much.I'd love to use it again.

We had a lovely time here during our stay in Osaka. It was super convenient to many of the attractions and the place was a great base with all the amenities we needed. Would recommend.

On the first day of my stay, my family was sick, but they responded quickly, which was very helpful. Also, the whole family was very happy with a lot of sharing, etc. I would love to use it again! Thank you very much.

I was impressed by the beautiful house, facilities, and surrounding environment unlike what was advertised.The weather was bad during my stay, so I couldn't see the stars, but I had a very meaningful stay indoors.Above all, communication about the facilities and surrounding facilities was always polite and smooth, so I was able to prepare and move around the area without getting lost.It was a great stay!
