Hostel vacation rentals in Tōkai Region

昌子さん and staff were amazing! they took good care of my vegan diet and we were able to communicate via Line at all times. The place is beautiful, the onsen peaceful, and the surroundings are just something else. I totally recommend and would come again if I ever want to ski or trekking in Japan

Great choice, the room type we are staying in is a tatami room, the room is warm and clean, the space is also very spacious, the bathroom is just across the street is very convenient to use, the whole is a very good stay

The room was very clean and nice.

This is a hostel but not like any hostel in USA. So clean, private, safe, and comfortable. Wang greeted us and made wonderful recommendations so we went to he Monkey Park (WOW) amazing views in their habitat and views, then Hot Springs and Bamboo forest all within walking distance. Ate and drank and local places recommended that we would never have found. Next day - took Uber to Golden Temple. Such a short stay but did so much. Thank you Mulan and Wang! Highly recommend.

The hostel was as advertised, staff was friendly and polite and responded quickly to queries. Good central location. Was nice to have private sleeping quarters but shared common space to say hi to some other travellers. Was very convenient having a vending machine inside the building!

Although we were unfortunately unable to stay at the location due to personal reasons they were still really helpful and kind. I hope to be able to visit one day.

Small but comfortable room.Bathrooms and baths are shared and suitable for single backpackers.Great two shopkeepers.Transportation is also very convenient, there are two stations next to it (Zoo Mae and Shin-Imamiya), and the airport is directly accessible.

The house is beautiful, about 19 min to the sta.There is a reason the host advised to get there before sunset, there are no street lights.I am very sorry that the host had a white run at night without receiving me and felt kindness.There is a large soaking pool to relax in.The kitchen has three big refrigerators, which was great!

It's a good place to stay and Katsu-san is very kind and helpful. The place is a bus ride away from the station so plan accordingly.

It is a little far from Nagoya Station, and there is no water purifier, so you have to buy water or drink tap water. The disadvantage is that you can come and go to Sakae in about 30 minutes on foot, so it's good to use it without public transportation even at night. There are many Korean-speaking staff, so it's okay to communicate, and most importantly, this living space at this price can't be asked for more.

A lovely, modern accommodation conveniently located near the station, with plenty of fantastic dining options just steps away. Moto is an exceptional host—warm, friendly, and incredibly accommodating. He went out of his way to recommend some amazing local attractions, which made my stay even more enjoyable. The space itself felt cozy and welcoming, making it easy to feel right at home. I highly recommend staying here!

The room matched the description/photo perfectly, I really enjoyed it. Full of amenities, the spaces were well maintained and clean and made you feel at home. Convenient location to visit Nara because it is within walking distance of major attractions and the station while maintaining a sheltered and quiet location away from tourist confusion and noise. Excellent breakfast service. Friendly and welcoming staff. I would definitely stay here again in the future!

The room is clean and has everything travlers need. The host is very kind and communicative. highly recommended for budget travelers. Since the host is Korean, I think Koreans can use it more comfortably. He is very kind.

Super nice stuff, helped me a lot with planning my local activities. Really nice and tiny bar next door, too. You can even rent bikes. looking forward to see you again one day.

All in all, this guesthouse was great, located near the train station so it's easy to get to the points of interest through the Shinkansen. The staff was very welcoming and caring, whether it was the reception, the cleaning staff or the host. I really enjoyed staying there.
