We had a fantastic stay at Reiko’s place in Machida! The apartment was clean, comfortable, and well-equipped with everything we needed. The location was super convenient, with a grocery store and a 7-11 just a short walk away, making it easy to grab essentials. The nearest train station is about a 12-15 minute walk, and from there, you can reach most parts of Tokyo in about an hour, making this a great spot for those who want a peaceful stay with easy city access. Reiko was an absolutely wonderful host! She lives downstairs, but the apartment is completely private on the upper floor. She was incredibly kind and thoughtful, even leaving us some delicious food and snacks upon check-in, which was such a warm welcome after a long journey. Communication was smooth, and she was always available for any questions. If you’re looking for a cozy, well-located stay with a truly exceptional host, this is the perfect place. We would love to stay here again!

The room was big and there was nothing in the microwave and the pot in the microwave. Moreover, you also have a 220v outlet, so you don't need to use the adapter separately. The distance from the landmark was fine, and most importantly, the owner was really kind, so it was nice.

We had a relaxing time in a quiet and natural village.There are no high concrete buildings or chain stores around, and you can enjoy a drive while taking in the stunning views of the Alps. There were many ingredients at the nearby supermarket that you can't find in other prefectures, such as local vegetables and local chicken, and it was fun to try various things. The room has a high ceiling and is spacious, and there is also a Japanese-style room, and there are plenty of cooking utensils, so you can enjoy cooking for yourself. You must bring your own firewood and towels. The host who lives next door was friendly and gave us an explanation at check-in.Thanks for letting me stay in such a lovely place.

Fantastic place to stay, great location with easy access to restaurants and site seeing. The Moon Room is really cosy with great bathroom and excellent beds. Sean is a great host, really responsive and has excellent knowledge of Kyoto, his guide for food is very good. He was happy to book us into Mughal Indian restaurant (which was excellent) which we greatly appreciated. Overall our 6 nights at the Moon House were very enjoyable and while it’s small (but everything in Japan is!) it’s cosy and well maintained and suited us as a family of 3 very well.

I was impressed by the great attentiveness of the host. It was a very cold day when I checked in, but please keep the room warm and let me know if there is any inconvenience during your stay.They took great care of me. I received a quick reply to my email, which gave me peace of mind.

I arrived very late in the evening and she was understanding and waited for me, I was very well received. If you need any help or advice, please do not hesitate to ask her, she always has very good advice and she is extremely caring. The room is large and spacious, and it feels like sleeping in a traditional room with stone entrance, tatami and futons. To be precise, the kitchen is not a common room, it is part of the bedroom with the shower room etc, it is that the toilet,which is in the hallway (you have to leave the room). These are not a shared toilet but for the exclusive use of room 201. On the location of the apartment, it is 10 min from the namba metro, and it has a street from the Kuromon market, at the end of the street it is the nipponbashi dendentown, 20 min from the dotonburi. Honestly, I was able to do a lot on foot thanks to its positioning.

We stayed in an annex to a traditional house and were very pleased with our stay. The location is amazing—surrounded by lots of cherry blossoms along the Oyabe river, and there are beautiful fields to walk through. There are also traditional restaurants nearby, which adds to the charm of the area. The room was warm enough, but the only downside was that it was a bit uncomfortable to sleep due to just one shikibuton. Nevertheless, this didn’t overshadow our overall experience. We really enjoyed our time here and would recommend it to anyone looking to enjoy the Japanese tradition and nature.

The place is very cozy, there are a lot of kitchenware for use. The location is very convenient, just a few minutes walk from JR Station and just a few steps from Family Mart

The hot spring was good.We also enjoyed the sauna.The theater room was also good. It was unfortunate that the barbecue grill fire was quickly extinguished due to strong winds, and as a result, we were unable to barbecue, but the meat was also burned in the oven, so it was a result.

Quiet and affordable accommodation, spacious lounge, capsule bed spacious and comfortable.

The home was exactly as depicted in the listing, it was extremely clean and comfortable, and had all amenities and more that we required for our stay. The host was also very friendly, easy to communicate with and understanding to our requests. The location of the home was extremely convenient, Nankai Namba Station was located within a 5-7 minutes walk of the home, and there was various malls and things to do within a 5 minutes walking radius of the home such as Namba Parks, Namba City, Nipponbashi Denden Town, Namba Shopping District. A 7-11 was also located right opposite the home visible from the front door. It was a great place to fully explore Namba and the surrounding districts at a very reasonable price. Will definitely try to stay at the same location if I have the chance to visit again!

It was nice to have a clean facility, and it was nice to have a jacuzzi and a hot spring.
