Kid-friendly vacation rentals in Toggenburg District

We were allowed to spend super nice days at Manuela's cottage for the second time. Everything was perfect again. The large garden was a highlight for young and old to play, discover or relax. We really appreciated the many toys for the kids. The house is also very lovingly decorated. Thank you very much dear Manuela.

We had a great time staying at Jeannine’s. The house is very cozy and the view around the house is beautiful. Jeannine is very responsive and gave us clear instructions.

We found everything super well: well-stocked kitchen and everything available in the bathroom such as towels, shower gel and hair dryer, bed covered with fresh linens; small veranda with garden furniture and gas grill for dinner; short distances to the train station and bus stop despite being close to the center very quiet.

We had a wonderful stay in the very well-equipped house. Above all, the sauna and cooling pool were special.

Is an unforgettable experience for all of us. We live in a city, having cows just outside the house is so special experience.

We stayed at this wonderful place for the 2nd time and enjoyed the 5 days very much. Here we feel very much at home and everything you need is available. The place is very clean, quietly located, cozily furnished, everything is available and Marlis is a super host! What more could you ask for? I'm sure we'll be back! Being able to experience the old New Year's Eve (Chlausen) in Urnäsch was an absolute highlight and very impressive. You can also do great, beautiful hikes in the area. This was the best equipped kitchen and house I’ve stayed at, had everything you could want and more. The host went above and beyond to make our stay special, she even gave us heads up about traffic. The host also gave us great information about the area. The house and neighborhood are very quiet with great views.

Martin is a beautiful host, and his communication is great. The apartment was clean and very comfortable, and he filled it with nice treats for breakfast. His communication was always helpful and made everything easy. I really enjoyed my stay.

We had a lovely stay in this beautiful apartment in Krinau! From the moment we arrived we felt very welcome (despite the fact that we arrived way too early…). Fritz and Ruth are incredibly friendly and welcoming. We were allowed to take a look at the dairy farm, very nice. The apartment is comfortable, sparkling clean and cozily furnished, with everything you need for a relaxing stay. The mountain views are truly breathtaking – waking up every morning with such a view and the ringing of cow bells is a gift! The children (4 and 6 years) had a great time. We would definitely recommend this place to anyone looking for an authentic, quiet Swiss experience. Thank you for the warm welcome and the nice stay – we'd love to come back!

Beautiful little apartment from which you can walk to everything important in Herisau. The amenities were great and nothing was missing. Parking spot outside the house is great.

Very nicely renovated apartment in historic house in the middle of the village of Urnäsch. Susanne welcomed us in a very friendly way and was concerned about our well-being. The apartment is well equipped, also for children. We had a lovely few days here.

Käthis apartment is beautiful and fantastically located. The view is unparalleled. From there you can go hiking. Directly below the apartment on the hillside is a nice inn within walking distance, where you can eat well. We thoroughly enjoyed the stay. Käthi and her family were very helpful and nice. Thank you! Large apartment that is well furnished with a kitchen, dishwasher and washer/dryer. The neighbourhood is also very quiet - all we could hear were birds chirping. We also appreciated the clear instructions given by Raphael and Dianna. Overall, this is a perfect place to stay if you want to explore the Appenzell region!

The apartment was ideal for us as a family of four. Sandra and her family are great hosts and very helpful. We felt totally comfortable in the apartment. It was a successful vacation, also thanks to the beautiful apartment and our hosts.

Peter and Maria's Airbnb is beautiful and very clean and tidy. But not only the apartment is beautiful, also the outdoor seating, the garden, the forecourt with fountains and benches. Everything is in good shape and the amenities are large. We didn't miss anything in the kitchen, there was everything from the frying pan to the preparation knife, the egg cups, bowls and spices. The children were of course most happy about the toys/playroom. Peter and Maria are incredibly sweet and accommodating, they spoiled us and the children. They are open, helpful, and chatty without being intrusive. The location is great, but we arrived by car, which makes it easy. Several walking paths pass immediately beside the apartment and the Neckertal is really pretty. Shopping is not good in Dicken itself, we drove to Degersheim for this. But the restaurants are great - be sure to check the opening hours beforehand:-)
