Cabin vacation rentals in Tofte

Beautiful location, quiet can see so many stars at night. We went in the Spring as we wanted to visit state parks in northern Wisconsin. Couldn’t have asked for a better place.

The Cozy Cabin is just that…very cozy and comfortable. The main cabin has a small living room space but the deck and game room in the garage allow for people to spread out. The kitchen space is laid out well and very functional. My daughters enjoyed the hot tub and watching movies and the Timberwolves game while in the hot tub! So many opportunities throughout the property to gather, converse and play! It’s apparent how much time went into to designing all the spaces!!! The ride into downtown Duluth/Canal Park was a little longer than expected but the cabin is so close to the Miller Hill Mall area, Costco and Target which made up for the extra distance to downtown. We had a great time and if the opportunity presents itself to be back in the area we would definitely stay again!

Had a wonderful extended weekend stay at this cabin in Ely! The location was close enough to town to go into for dinner or to get coffee in the mornings, but remote enough to feel really cozy and relaxed. The cabin itself was very comfortable, clean and spacious and all of the instructions left were extremely helpful! I would highly recommend this place as a nice weekend (or longer) getaway, and I would definitely return:)

Hannah’s place was gorgeous, comfortable, functional and clean. The location was amazing for nature lovers although we were just as happy relaxing at the house! I definitely plan to return in the future because we had such a great experience.

This Airbnb was a perfect place for a larger group due to the spacious and well planned space. Everything was high quality and felt built to last, which seems rarer and rarer nowadays. We used the pool/hot tub and pickleball facilities. Pool+hot tub were a nice size and there was plenty of seating. We enjoyed the pickleball but the paddles did seem aged. It would be nice for the resort group to implement self check in for the ease of the guests but Crystal at the front desk was a friendly face.

We had a terrific stay at Tiffany’s place. It’s a perfect location and home base for a golf trip!

This spacious home plus the bunkhouse beautifully hosted our three-generation group of 9. The setting is spectacular and the home’s indoor and outdoor amenities were enjoyed by all. We played games in the great room, sweated in the sauna, jumped in the cold lake, soaked in the hot tub, told stories around the fire ring, cooked delicious meals in the well-appointed kitchen and slept soundly in comfortable beds. We biked around Miners Lake and into town. Everyone enjoyed the International Wolf Center and challenging hikes or runs on easily accessible trails. Our two dogs kept the resident chipmunks on their toes and enjoyed exploring new trails with us.

This is a wonderful off grid get away. We did a winter trip and pulled sleds with skis. Brought in water, coffee, and food. Made fires in the stoves for heat, and had a couple great saunas with cold plunges in the lake. Everything required work which is what my group was looking for. Wood to split, fires to feed, and lanterns to see at night. Close enough to ski back to the car and head to Ely anytime we wanted. Would recommend for unplugging from the busy world. Still had cell service if needed, but we stayed on airplane mode for the most part.

Just as before. It was a wonderful stay. This time with deer walking through the front & back yard!! Such a beautiful location! Hope to come back soon.

We had a very fun time and Keith and Sara were helpful when we had any questions. The area is beautiful and canoeing on the lake is a must!

My husband and son had such a great time. This cabin is full of charm and they are already talking about "the next time!"

We had a great stay! The space was perfect for just the 2 of us. it was cozy and I loved the hammock swing! I was happy we could see Lake Superior from the porch and the walk to it really is quick with easy access to the beach. it was private enough with quick access to Grand Marais. we hope to stay here again!

This cabin was peaceful, cozy, and had everything we needed to feel right at home. We really appreciated all the thoughtful amenities. The short walk to the nearby stream was a lovely bonus—such a relaxing setting!

beautiful cabin in the woods, near lakes and hiking. plenty of space with a great view of the sunrise from the bedroom upstairs. incredibly quiet and peaceful spot, really appreciated the modern cabin! easy to find, and near a coffee shop and two different lodges with restaurants. Great place to relax and enjoy the calm of nature!

Brian has a beautiful property near Two Harbors. The place was immaculately clean and well maintained. We were able to feel relaxed during our whole stay. We communicated with Brian that we were bringing our two dogs and the process was simple and quick. Our dogs had a blast around the property. Overall I highly recommend!

The level of detail Cory has placed in his home from the cleanliness and decor, to the subtle finishes and hi-tech devices made the home a real joy to stay in. Everything was meticulously thought out, organized, and considered to include YouTube videos explaining the attributes of the home. The treehouse was an adventure on its own with its own story and focus on the 5 acre property nestled between the home and outdoor fire scape. It was a lot of fun watching and reading how Cory and his family and friends designed and built the treehouse, and our kids truly enjoyed it. Finally, it was a perfect location sharing trees with Jay Cook State Park. Also, it is less than 20 minutes from Duluth. It was a perfect launch point as we explored the northern Wisconsin and Minnesota. Our three days wasn’t enough time!

Very beautiful and private location with a very comfortable cabin. It is private and peaceful. We brought our boat but it was also fun to take the kayaks and canoe out to get a closer look at the many islands the lake has. Fishing was a challenge but our 14 yr old son did manage to catch two large bass off the dock over 2 days. This would be a place we would consider staying again even though I do not typically like to visit the same place twice!

This was my second time coming to this place. It's a perfect gateway, just a two-hour drive from Duluth. I needed some peaceful nights, and this is a perfect place where you can disconnect from all distractions and find some peace. I love this place and will be visiting more often.

We stayed for 5 nights with two children. The loft was perfect for them to stretch out and offered a bit of independence and area to play. The house is stocked and well thought out and offers anything you might need or forgot to bring along. Make sure to gas up and grab your groceries before you arrive due to the remote location. We mainly stayed nearby enjoying the lake access, use of kayaks, and state park down the road. It was also a convenient spot to explore a little farther out - spent the day in Ely away from the cooler shore. If you're on the fence, go for it! Serenity Lodge offers all the creature comforts of home and more to make a memorable North Shore adventure.

We had the best time at our stay here! Super relaxing and so many beautiful views and hikes! Derek & Andrea are the sweetest couple ever and so kind! We are already planning for a trip back!
