Monthly Rentals in Thurning

The Lodge is a quaint, quirky very compact cosy place to stay. Jan is so welcoming and makes lovely fruit cake as I sampled on arrival! Which was most welcome after a long drive. Will definitely return but maybe in the spring or summer. The road leading to the village is pretty dark and quite narrow in places but the surrounding countryside is beautiful especially with the autumn colours.

We had an excellent stay in Mandy and Duncan’s cosy cottage with our toddler. Everything was very thoughtful and it was probably the best stocked kitchen we have ever had in an Airbnb! We really appreciated that there was a fire guard supplied for the fire which is the main source of heating for the cottage. The location is good and there’s a short walk to a playground, pub and village shop. Short drives to Sheringham, Cromer, etc. We would definitely return!

We were looking for a place to escape for NYE as we wanted somewhere in the country and quiet! Elaine’s annex was excellent, clean, and as described! Would recommend 😊

This 2 bed cottage was perfect for me, my husband, my parents and our 2 dogs to stay in for the week. The house was very clean and has been furnished with good quality fixtures and fittings. Good size kitchen space with everythingwe needed, nice new bathrooms and a snug living room with cosy seating. Alison and Claire made contact several times to support check in and check out. Good location for Holt and a 30 minute drive to Wells, Holkham and Cromer.
