We felt at home staying at Suzanne's place. It was perfect for our needs. She is a gracious host. She had a wonderful home cooked meal ready for us. We really appreciated it after our long drive to Thunder Bay. The kitchen has everything you need and more. The whole place is very clean, cozy and comfortable. Her beautiful back yard is fenced in which was perfect for our dog in between his walks. We would recommend her place to anyone looking for accomodations in Thunder Bay. We would book her place again without hesitation.

We loved our stay! Visited our son at MTU and enjoyed the beach. We all love rock hunting and found so many beautiful rocks during the day and 29 yooperlights in the evening. The suite was perfect for our family of 4. All though the place is on a resort it was very private. We will definitely be back!

Absolutely pristine. Peaceful. The first night, I saw a coyote run through the woods. The second night, three deer went through. My dog and I had a peaceful, absolutely grounding stay. Good moments of sunbathing in the early spring light. Easy to relax. Highly recommend the walking trail. It’s clearly marked and links right up to superior hiking trail. Felt as though I was walking amongst the deer. It’s pin drop silent, apart from an occasional car on 61, and the beach is a quick walk. I will certainly be coming back. Everything I needed for this weary family therapist.

Great, quiet, and remote cabin – perfect for a peaceful getaway while we were in area to fish on a lake nearby. Unfortunately, we had to leave early due to a family emergency, so we didn’t get to fully enjoy our stay. The hosts were very kind and responsive throughout. We would definitely recommend this place to anyone visiting the area, and I'm sure it's even more enjoyable in the summer when you can make the most of the outdoor space.

I have only absolutely wonderful things to say about our stay here! The location, on the shore of Lake superior, near Mt Bohemia but also near to other attractions was fantastic. The house itself is lovely as is the sauna house. I have never stayed in an airbnb so well appointed. The decor was lovely, nice bedding, games, books, etc. The kitchen was better stocked with pans etc than my own. It was perfect for many lovely family meals. We had an incredible stay! I hope we will come back many times in the future! Thank you!

Book it!! Alex put thought into each and every inch of this beautiful and serene place. The kitchen was impressively stocked for cooking. The style and decor created a place to feel at home in luxury. We loved viewing the water from the bedroom loft and from the living room, as well as utilizing both indoor and outdoor fireplaces. Every detail is so nice. Also, the sauna had a huge picture window facing Lake Superior and felt like you were floating above it. Such a perfect spot for our digital detox weekend. We’ll be back! Oh, and the bed itself and linens (bedding and towels) were really comfortable. Highly, highly recommend!!

Harbour View is conveniently located and a very comfortable house We loved the nooks where you could just look out at the harbor. We were up for a Lutsen ski trip and enjoyed the space we had in the house compared to staying in a hotel or condo. Lovely house in a great location.

This is a great space and I would highly recommend it to anyone in the area. It is obviously cared for as if it was an extension of someone’s home and you can feel that when you’re there. Extremely cozy and comfortable. Well stocked with all the necessities and super close to downtown, not to mention the fantastic , coffee, donuts and pasties at the shop Downstairs!

This was my second stay at Danielle's and I will continue to recommend it and I will continue to stay there when travelling to Thunder Bay. Danielle is super friendly, helpful and a fantastic host.

What a special place on the north shore! Taking in the waves and wind energized our souls. We meandered on Gitche-Gami by bike, ventured to Lutsen and Grand Marais and filled our bellies at Coho on our way out. We are so grateful for this welcoming and cozy space.
