Ski-in/Ski-out vacation rentals in Thunder Bay, Unorganized

We felt at home here, everything was as described, easy to locate and not far from campus, downtown or shopping. The host were accommodating and a pleasure to communicate with. Thank you!

We enjoyed our stay and especially enjoyed the welcome pack of treats and the nice note welcoming us on our arrival. Adding a clothes dryer would be a nice extra touch for the future.

Beautiful location and property. The house was clean and finished like a new home. Accommodations were excellent for our group of 6. Location and views were perfect, id love to visit in summer. Host was top notch on every level. Thank you.

Amazing place - the location is very private, but still a short drive to Calument, Houghton & Mt Bohemia. Very clean feeling, very beautiful furniture and appliance, the cork floors are soft/luxurious & the view is incredible. Would recommend!

We loved our holiday skiing stay! We had two families, nine people - 4 adults and 5 young adults. The ski in/ out access was great and there was plenty of space for all of us to hang out in the great room. Bedrooms and bathrooms were spacious and clean. The kitchen was extremely well stocked and we cooked all our meals in! There is only seating for 7 at the table, but we moved a couple counter stools to the table so we could all sit there. We had some issues with the heat in the upstairs bedroom (too hot) but Shayla was responsive and helped us trouble shoot. We would stay here again!

We were a group of 9 adults and Jess and Paul’s place is perfect for a large group. It is very difficult to find enough sleeping spaces, so this worked out perfectly for us. The hosts are very responsive and proactively communicated with us. The property manager apartment is connected to the house, but we had our own space and there is privacy. The amenities are awesome, the sauna was TOASTY! We loved long evenings by the fire outside. Amazing access to trails - both easy and challenging. Grand Marais is just 5 minutes down the road. Overall, we had a 10/10 experience!

Jereme, was so helpful with all aspects of our 4 night stay at this Beautiful spot near the Poplar River. Skiing out was a breeze and we had enough snow to ski all the way back as well. The kids enjoyed the hot tub and pool at Caribou and everyone enjoyed this wonderful skiing experience. Great host and great spot at Lutsen Mountains!

Wonderful place with Lake Superior access that feels secluded but is only a few mins to town. Was clean and comfortable, would definitely stay again!

We returned to this cottage for our winter Keweenaw trip, we loved it so much the first time we stayed here last year. I love the cottage and the beautiful location, and appreciate that we can bring our dogs. The cottage is cozy, and well stocked with everything you need.

This was my second time staying here, and it was great again. unfortunately the power went out in the area, and Rick even came and checked up on us. Really appreciated that. Would defintely recommend this simple place to stay.

In town for the Great Bear Chase and stayed here for the second straight year. Everything worked out as expected. Close to town, well equipped kitchen, plenty of sleeping spaces. Nice to have sauna access. Host is easy to reach and responsive. House rules and amenities are easy to find. Would definitely stay again.

We just loved Cathi’s cabin! It was our first time staying at a cabin without electricity or running water and the description of the property was very accurate and allowed for us to plan appropriately. The property was well kept, clean and safe. We had such a great time!

great wilderness camp, great trail access and awesome service. out of a 5 star rating I'll give it a 10. we had a great time and it was just what we where looking for.

Honestly a great place if you’re just getting into the whole cabin in the woods wood for heat thing. Cabin was about what you would expect for a cabin the woods, cleanish, bed made, really homey feeling. Honestly perfect. We chose to do this approx 4 days before check in and the ease of getting settled in was the main selling point, fire burning when we got there, drinking water ready and cold, wood in the cabin ( good wood none the less). Cathy was a delight to deal with, as was David. Over all probably won’t come back unless it’s a timing thing, the price was a little steep for what it was. (But hey, I still paid it and had a great time)

Fun rustic cabin with amazing north shore woods surrounding, definitely itching to try and go back. The firewood being available made life easy for the stove inside to warm it up on the cool nights, outhouses were nice, trails were peaceful, and allowing our dog to stay made it great for a little family trip!

Cute little cabin in the woods. It was a great place to stay. I stayed in Oct, even though it was 30 degrees outside the cabin stayed warm enough even when the fire went out during the night. Nice trails, would be great for skiing during the winter. Had everything you needed to feel at home. Sauna was great also. I think it is a little overpriced with no running water or electric compared to other places, but was very nice. Better than I expected.

Richard was very accommodating and communicative during my stay. This is a prime location for anyone going to Mt. Bohemia. I will definitely be back.
