Amazing town, amazing airbnb

Only thing I didn’t like about the place was the drive way a little tight to pull into with bigger trucks but it was still really nice interior could of fit 10 people if you really wanted but loved the place would 100% come back n ride boho again! Place is amazing and has good places to eat near by

Christina and Jeremiah are super responsive and have everything you need for a fantastic visit to the North Shore! The fireplace was perfect for warming a beautiful winter day watching the big waves up close. They have great coffee supplies as well as tea and hot chocolate waiting for you. They also had a stocked closet with hiking poles and stuff you might have forgotten for your outdoor fun. Kitchen is fully stocked as well. Lots of pillows and a comfy bed. Definitely would stay again. Thank you!

This beautiful condo was a wonderful place to spend a spring week with our family. The host was kind and responsive, the home was roomy and had a fabulous view, the kitchen was well stocked with enough pans and basic appliances (always appreciated yet often overlooked), and the beds were comfortable. It compared favorably to resorts we have frequented in the area over the years. We loved our stay and hope to come back in the future!

We stayed for a ski/birthday weekend and it was perfect. Sherry was great offering suggestions on dining and weekend happenings. Watching the deer in the morning was a highlight. The nearby cottages were close but still felt secluded. We hope to return!

Definetely felt like home… had everything you might need or want… for a short stay or a long stay. The king bed was awesome… so comfortable and cosy. Great little find in a fantastic little town with so much to offer!

Fantastic location, especially if you plan to visit the Sleeping Giant. Huge outdoor space with multiple deck levels, all lit up at night both with solar and motion lighting. Cozy cottage with everything we needed, including a really nice hot tub after a day of hiking and biking. Great stop - would definitely stay again!

We absolutely LOVE the place have come multiple times.

Such a private and relaxing location. Our last two nights we even saw the aurora over Gratiot Lake! Make sure if cloudy days are forecasted you conserve power! We had no difficulty utilizing the amenities and when we had questions Rebecca was responsive and helpful! The roads in are sand/gravel so we would recomend using a vehicle with high clearance. We had a wonderful stay here!

This is a lovely spot to stay on the peninsula. It’s close to both lakes so you can canoe anywhere. The August long weekend was a little busy on the lake but then it got quiet on Monday. Michael is very friendly and was a great host. All cooking and bbq supplies were available. It was a week to remember for us. Thank you Michael and Julie.

The cabin is beautiful, peaceful, remote, inviting, very clean, and so comfortable! It was a perfect getaway for our family. Access to the sauna at the Lodge was wonderful. Very kind and responsive host. Thank you!

Great spot and get-away! Leeza & Ian were superb communicators and gracious hosts. Their camp was as described and super relaxing location on the water. Easy in and out, and a laid back town/neighborhood. The beach was shallow and made for exhilarating swimming. It was super easy for us to grill and hang out side on the spacious deck. Fully equipped kitchen to cook and make yourself feel at home. We especially enjoyed the proximity to some beautiful parks and excellent hikes. Conveniences close-by (we found Terrace Bay to have all we needed). We will certainly keep an eye out for an opening to stay again when we make it back to their neck of the woods again.

We appreciated easily being able to easily communicate with Martha about any questions we had. House was well supplied with all we needed to make our stay hassle free. Very good the attention to detail on the little items that often get overlooked. Comfortable and very easy to feel at "home"

We have stayed here multiple times. The house is clean. The kitchen is amazing with everything you need to make gourmet meals. The beds are comfy. Best of all…the log fireplace and the sound of the Superior waves all night while you sleep!

I have only absolutely wonderful things to say about our stay here! The location, on the shore of Lake superior, near Mt Bohemia but also near to other attractions was fantastic. The house itself is lovely as is the sauna house. I have never stayed in an airbnb so well appointed. The decor was lovely, nice bedding, games, books, etc. The kitchen was better stocked with pans etc than my own. It was perfect for many lovely family meals. We had an incredible stay! I hope we will come back many times in the future! Thank you!

Great place for a group to gather. Very spacious space with lots of bathrooms, beds, and space to hang out. Beautiful view of the canal. The place was hopping with many snowmobile trailers but still plenty of parking for our large group. Super close to Houghton and all of the other places in the Keweenaw you might want to go.

Three of us had a wonderful wintery stay in early February. The house was great--cozy and comfortable with an incredibly well stocked kitchen and an epic bathtub! We took advantage of the gorgeous private sauna every single day and even had a bonfire one night at dust. The proximity to Lake Superior is another plus--as soon as you step outside the house you can hear the waves from the shore! Deidra was a wonderful host. She provided so many recommendations for the North Shore and even offered an early check in since the house was not occupied the night before our arrival. The snacks, welcome note and local gifts (wine, cider, maple syrup and pancake mix) made us feel welcome and appreciated. We hope to stay again in the summer when we can spend even more time outside enjoying the lake.

We had an amazing stay at this beautiful Lake Superior retreat while volunteering and spectating at the John Beargrease Sled Dog Marathon. The location was perfect—peaceful, scenic, and provided easy access to key race spots like the checkpoint Sky port, Otter Lake road crossing, and the Grand Portage finish. It was also an easy drive to Grand Marais for dining and exploring. The cabin is a perfect mix of rustic charm and comfort, with stunning lake views and cozy in-floor heating. After long days out in the cold, it was the perfect place to warm up and unwind. Tiffany was an excellent host—extremely easy to communicate with and very responsive. The property’s history, nearby Hovland Dock, and surrounding trails make this a special place for any North Shore adventure. We highly recommend this stay to anyone looking to relax and explore this beautiful area!

Carrie's home on Lake Superior is stunning, from a location standpoint, the amenities, the space, and most of all its view of the lake. We had panoramic views of the lake, with windows all along the walls facing the lake. We had privacy yet we were close to groceries, restaurants, etc. Furnishings in the home were great: comfortable beds, great furniture set-up in the living area, really complete cookware, dishes, and silverware in the kitchen, and the home office with a desk was great for working from there. Our family group had a wonderful time and would definitely like to return sometime soon. Carrie was a great host too. She was quick with responses to questions and was very helpful. We appreciated her efficiency and kindness!
