Kid-friendly vacation rentals in Thousand Oaks

A nice small cottage. We only used one bedroom. Walking distance from restaurants. Quiet on weekend. There is construction going on next door during the week. Overall good experience. If you like to cook the kitchen is the best part of the house!

One of the best Airbnb’s I’ve stayed in. Very comfortable. Great living space. Comfortable bed. Nice linens and towels. Kureig with coffee, including decaf!! A small basket of snacks. They had it stocked with everything I needed. Decorated very nicely. Super quiet neighborhood.

Connor’s place was beautifully designed, well maintained , on a gorgeous property. Super comfortable stay and excellent communication throughout. Everything was clean, peaceful, and just as described. Would definitely stay again!

We were a group of 6 (three adults, three teens) and this house was perfect for us! Although it could easily sleep 8. We loved the pool and the hot tub, the backyard was beautiful! We requested that the pool be heated (fair fee) and it was the perfect temperature for the kids on a weekend that was not too warm. There was extra toilet paper, paper towels, trash bags, baggies(things that are not always included with Airbnb's). We were able to find everything we needed during our stay. The coffee/wine bar was such a cute addition. The TV's were easy to use, there is even one outside. Tom and Chris were perfect hosts, very responsive and helpful. We would love to stay here again in the future! Highly recommend!

Place was nice and clean pool was warm hot tub was hotter and it was a great little get away! Awesome house for a good group of people.

We had a wonderful 3-night stay at this lovely home. The house was very clean and well-kept, with comfortable beds that made for a great night’s sleep. The peaceful garden was a highlight — perfect for relaxing with a coffee or just unwinding. Communication with the host was excellent: responsive, clear, and respectful of our space, which really helped us feel at home. Would definitely recommend this place to anyone looking for a quiet, comfortable stay.

Loved this place. Great ocean view, very quiet and peaceful. The entire property was beautiful and we loved their garden. They were some of the friendliest people who've hosted us.

We had a very lovely stay in the apartment. The building was so interesting, with lots of history in the neighborhood. The apartment was spacious for the 2 of us. What little time we spent there was perfect for us. There were lots of streaming options, the kitchen was small but easy to work in and the bed was super comfortable! There was a white noise machine which was a nice touch, We did not use it but great idea. Our stay was focused on fairground events so this was very convenient to that as well as the train, the historic pier and restaurants, the beach, etc - all between 5-10 minutes away. There was a Vons market and CVS very close by for stocking up. All to say it was a very convenient location. There is a secured parking spot in the building which is also great. David was super responsive and helpful. There are some parks and trails nearby, sadly we did not have time to explore but if we go to Ventura again, I would definitely stay here.

Jason is an amazing host. He is very responsive and helpful. The cute place has everything you need for either a short term or a long term stay. It’s quiet but it has a lot of restaurants and stores within walking distance. Definitely will come back next time we visit Thousand Oaks.

The house is really nice and cozy. Easy to access. Kitchen has all the required utensils and other cookware.

We had a great time at Landon & Evie’s place in Ventura! We stayed one night and hope to stay longer next time! Apartment was very nice and as described! Great location and walking distance to Main Street , restaurants , coffee , bars and beach! Place was clean, spacious and very comfortable! Apartment building was very quiet and peaceful! Landon & Evie were friendly, accommodating , welcoming and had great communication! We love Ventura and are exited to find a great place to stay when we are visiting! We had a great stay, everything was nice and was just as listed. I would say if you have PTSD you should be a bit careful since the waves do vibrate the property at times. Everything was beautiful and the host were so responsive. I would definitely stay again.

Julia is an incredible host. From the time we booked her home, she was very hospitable and did everything to make our stay comfortable. I highly recommend her place to anyone wanting to visit LA. The apartment is in a resort-style complex with a great pool and gym; the location was perfect for us. Thanks, Julia, for making our stay memorable.

Austin had great communication from the start and really easy check-in and check-out process. The space was clean, welcoming and had everything we needed. It was perfect for the 4 of us cozy space to regroup after our conference everyday - to eat around a table and chill out at night. We'd definitely stay there again!

Absolutely thrilled about our stay here. It’s a beautiful condo with the best LA decor. Everything was clean and comfortable. Also- Having a WORKING washing machine in an Airbnb was a game changer! The rooftop views- wow!! How cool to have a pool and hot tub on the roof! There is also no reason to feel unsafe at this location (I saw other reviews with some worries). The security at the front desk was AMAZING. They will not let anyone in that is not supposed to be in the building. They eventually know you by name and greet you. They walked me outside to show me exactly how to get to the convenient parking garage provided by the host. (The parking garage is just as secure!) I could go on and on about our experience- but it will only allow me to write so much! Thank you so much Brandon! We will be back! If you want to stay downtown LA- stay here.

Booked for the rooftop pool view and it did not disappoint. The parking spot was a nice bonus. The unit itself was nice. Comfy bed, big tv, very clean. As others mentioned, it’s very bright; bring an eye mask if you don’t want to be up with the sunrise.

We stayed in suite 7, and it was STUNNING. It was so worth the price we paid to stay there. Everything was clean, and the hosts are so quick with responses! They were amazing to work with, we will be coming back!

My wife and I stayed here while I attended a conference 45 minutes away, inland. I’m so glad we stayed where we did because of the views. Not difficult to get around. Grocery store and restaurants are not a far drive away. The place had everything we needed. Older adults, so pretty quiet. You can see and hear the ocean from the condo. Host was quick to respond to any questions.

Wonderful place. Only unfortunate thing is that we were right next to the main entrance so we heard people coming in and out. It only sucked because i was up and i got scared but would have never noticed if i was asleep. Wish i had time to visit the rooftop. It is a must stay. Host is very friendly and responsive. She made sure I was okay even though she was dealing with an 8 hr time difference. That’s service! Close to the beach.

The place was exactly as pictured and very clean. It had everything you need and everything was very well organized and easy to find. We enjoyed our stay and would stay again.

Short trip to Pasadena area and found this lovely place. Location is convenient with lots of restaurants and shops close by. Also, it was easy to get on highway to downtown LA and the beaches. We had a group of 3 and stayed very comfortably. The Airbnb is exactly as described. Host is very responsive and gave a list of recommendations for the area. Definitely recommend and would stay again for future visits!

Great spot in the heart of downtown. Loved the rooftop pool. Very convenient location, close to Dodger Stadium (Go Blue!). Host easy to communicate with. Front desk people super cool. Was nice to have parking too. Would stay again. Be sure to read about the history of this building. Super interesting.
