The apartment is perfectly situated in The Hague's old "Statenkwartier" (Scheveningen) and is a great base for cycling trips, hikes and cultural activities. The harbour, the beach and nice restaurants are close by. Tram nr 17 and 11 stop right around the corner and brings you to the city-center within several minutes. The beach is only a 14 minute walk away.

Waanzinnig uitzicht over zee!

Onze mooie en comfortabele studio - in het vroeger befaamde “Hotel Bord de la Mer” is aan de rand van de Noordzee. Vanaf de eerste etage is er een geweldig uitzicht van het Havenhoofd van Scheveningen tot aan de Pier en verder. In 2023 is de keuken en de badkamer vernieuwd, met behoud van charme. De badkamer is sindsdien voorzien van een inloop douche. Zoals wij 100% top recensies hebben, geven wij ook de voorkeur aan gasten met een 5* beoordeling.

Alles war bestens. Anna hat schnell auf Fragen geantwortet. Die Lage ist ideal. sehr zentral und gut angebunden. In Laufnähe gibt es zahlreiche Cafés, Bars und Restaurants. Anmerkung: Es gab pro Bett nur eine große Bettdecke. Hier könnte man in Zukunft vielleicht je zwei Bettdecken anbieten.

Rein and Carla were wonderful hosts. Their apartment in The Hague was just as advertised. We especially loved how central it was, the tram stop was close by and we also enjoyed exploring the city by foot. Carla was always very responsive, helpful, and friendly. We highly recommend their place!

We had a great time in Edwins apartment, spacious, all the windows gave a lot of light, and a view over the canal. Edwin is always available on chat and very helpful. We tried many of the restaurants he recommended, especially worth mentioning is the Thai a few minutes away and the seafood restaurant in Scheveningen. We suggest renting bikes, easier to get around the city, but especially for going to the beaches just a few minutes away, and for biking through the dunes along the cost between Hoek van Holland and Scheveningen.

Cosy atmospheric renewed beach and city apartment

Maurits is a very relaxed and welcoming host, and went out of his way to be helpful. Communication was friendly and very efficient. The spacious appartment (small bedroom but large, open sitting / dining area) is part of his family home and is within walking distance of the city centre, in a quiet, fairly boho neighbourhood, with lots of cafés, restaurants and vintage-type shops. Decorated in a stylish, slightly shabby-chic vibe, with tea & coffee provided, and fresh milk in the fridge - a nice touch!

The entrance door features an elegant arch with glass panels on either side, allowing light to enter the space. A marble surface is visible nearby, adorned with a floral arrangement. The inviting hallway beyond is softly lit and showcases framed artwork on the walls.

Top floor loft with terrace

We had a fantastic week staying at Irma's place. The apartment was beautiful and airy. It was extremely well equipped and comfortable. We enjoyed walking to the centre and to the beach as well as taking trips to Delft and Leiden, made very easy by the tram stop being at the end of the street. Irma made us very welcome and responded immediately to any queries we had. We would definitely stay here again should we be visiting the Hague.

Wir waren sehr zufrieden mit der Unterkunft. Sie liegt in einem hübschen Wohngebiet zwischen kleinen Teichen und Kanälen und ist mit allem eingerichtet, was man braucht. Hedi war ein unkomplizierter und herzlicher Gastgeber, der immer in einem engen Kontakt mit uns war. Wir konnten bei ihm E-Bikes ausleihen, was wir sehr empfehlen können. Ausflüge zum Meer, in das wunderschöne Dünengebiet, in die Stadt Den Haag oder nach Rotterdam sind damit kein Problem. Danke, Hedi, für die schöne Zeit, wir würden jederzeit wiederkommen.
