Kid-friendly vacation rentals in Thanet District

Amazing location, pubs, beach, amusements and fish and chips all in under a 5 minute walk even with a 5 year old in tow! Smart property and very private. We managed to get parked right outside on arrival and didn’t need the car again until we left!

We had a lovely minibreak here with our kids. The house has a cosy period property feel and a well equipped kitchen. We loved how close the house is to the beach and the shops and restaurants in town. Natasha shared a helpful online guidebook ahead of our stay which helped us plan ahead where we wanted to eat out and even buy ice cream!

Stewart's house was clean, comfortable, well equipped and tastefully decorated. The location was very central and close to the old town and attractions. Stewart's communication was excellent. Overall an excellent stay. Thank you Stewart

What a wonderful time we’ve just had in Rob’s beautiful beachside apartment. It certainly had the WOW factor with gorgeous furnishings, fabulous balcony and amazing views. The location was spot on, being located along the quieter end of the beach but still within easy walking distance to some cool bars and restaurants. We visited the bus cafe and beach bar with DJ set a stones throw from the property, along with the Fez bar, Bottega Caruso and the Micro brewery further into the town. The Turner Gallery, crab museum and TKE (all free) were great too. The communication with Rob and Fila was very pleasant and super efficient! We hope to return!

Lovely spacious cottage matching description and photos. Town centre so easily walkable to the beach, high street and Deal’s many restaurants and bars. Janey’s cottage has everything you’d need if you want to cook, and the back garden is a lovely private sheltered space to spend time outdoors. Communication from Janey was friendly and helpful and it was easy to check in via the lockbox.

Lovely house. Great location, 10 minute walk into Ramsgate. Alex was friendly and informative. Parking was a little bit tight.

What a find. Wonderful helpful and friendly family. We didn't have any issues with anything relating to this location. Clean well equipped and spacious property. Quiet location within walking distance of the local pub. Park and ride to Canterbury within five miles and cost £4. for the two of us. Location was perfect for us. We would definitely choose to stay with Emily and Simon again when we are next in Kent.

Charming little air bnb in an amazing location. Under 5 mins from beautiful Margate beach, but on a quiet side street. The property is a cosy, little 2 bed house. Homely and uncluttered. Even has a little, covered courtyard style garden for chillin' (and drying wet swimming trunks). The hosts, Zack & Georgia, were friendly, super helpful and polite. They always replied very quickly and you got the feeling nothing was ever too much trouble for them. The house even has free parking adjacent to the property. Which is super helpful, as anyone travelling with young children knows you tend to pack half the house. We'd def stay in this little gem of a find again and would highly recommend. It was our first time in Margate, and couldn’t have wished for a better place to stay! Super close from the station, you’re right in the action and couldn’t be any closer to the beach! The flat itself is great, had everything we needed to be comfortable for a long weekend. The host was responsive and very proactive throughout our stay. We’re already planning for our next stay in Margate!

I loved my stay at Fee’s place. Fee is super welcoming and quick to respond to any questions. The space is clean, comfortable, spacious, beautifully decorated & filled with homely touches. I couldn’t recommend it highly enough!

Kat’s place located centrally and perfectly for reaching all famous restaurants, vintage market, museums, cafes, especially for its spectacular framed sea view.

This Airbnb was absolutely beautiful and had everything that we needed to make our stay comfortable and enjoyable. I also loved the attention to the vintage decor inside. There was milk and posh coffee in the fridge, and a chilled bottle of wine ready for us when we arrived which was a lovely gesture. Tracy provided lots of useful information and was prompt to respond to any questions I had. The instructions were also clear and easy to access the property. Ramsgate is a lovely seaside town to visit with a cute indoor market and a wide range of restaurants and pubs with live bands. Absolutely gorgeous little flat just two minutes walk to the seafront. It's just generally in an excellent location close to lots of lovely cafes and restaurants. The flat has lots of natural light, lovely furnishings, a comfy bed. It has everything you could need and lots of thoughtful little extras too. It was absolutely spotless on arrival. We appreciated the little gift hamper, how communicative the hosts were and how cosy and welcoming the flat felt. We will definitely be back, thank you so much!

Patricia was a very welcoming host, she ensured we felt comfortable and mentioned we could check out after the set time if needed - this is really helpful as checking out with kids can sometimes feel pressured. Very clean and cosy stay with space for socialising and separate areas - will definitely stay again 🙂

We've had such a lovely time at the flat, the panoramic sea views are stunning and the beds are very comfortable. Ella very kindly let us check in early and sent very clear instructions of how to check in as well as a great list of things to do nearby. It's up two flights of stairs but didn't feel too steep and the view was more than worth it. It was great being so close to Walpole pool plus the beautiful seafront walk into Margate. We hope to return!

Sara’s flat is beautiful with incredible views over the harbour, particularly at sunset. It is ideally situated within Margate old town, with easy access to many fantastic restaurants and bars.

Great space for larger families with adult kids especially with one bedroom on lower floor and also having three separate bathrooms. View amazing. Relaxing airy feel. Big bedrooms. Will be back again.

We were greeted by Phil and Jenny who made us very welcome and they went through a few things with us. The accommodation was first class with a view outstanding. Everything was of good quality and the bed was comfortable. The walk in shower was great and hot. What more could anyone possibly require We will go again. Many thanks Phil and Jenny

Tom’s place was perfect for our Canterbury visit. It was exceptionally clean, great location with amazing river views, all the attractions and restaurants were a short walk away. His apartment was beautifully decorated and modern with an excellent kitchen and bathroom. Tom was very friendly and great communicator. I highly recommend his beautiful apartment.

The highlight of the apartment was certainly the beautiful view, we enjoyed watching the boats go by. The kitchen is incredibly well stocked, even has vinegar if you bring some fish & chips home! Shampoo, conditioner, body wash, a full sized hairdryer. All very appreciated. The path in front is easy to get to Margate from, we found the path down along the beach to be less windy and more enjoyable. Tiarrah's Pizza bar is close by and does fantastic pizzas and cocktails. I slept amazingly well too. We were offered an early check-in too which allowed us to get more time on holiday. thanks!
