Vacation rentals with a patio in Texada Island

As a nonprofit organization that supports families needing to relocate for medical treatment for their children and pregnancies, we often rely on compassionate hosts who are willing to accommodate urgent and evolving needs. Russell was quick to jump into action to help us out, ensuring that everything was seamless—even when dates needed to change and be extended, he made it work without hesitation. The family who stayed/is staying shared that they ae having an amazing experience in this suite. It is impeccably clean, the bed was very comfortable, and Russell went above and beyond to make their dog feel welcome, providing a dog bed, bowls, towels by the door, and waste bags. They described it as a beautiful place and said they would absolutely recommend it and stay again. We are so grateful for Russell’s kindness, flexibility, and generosity. His willingness to accommodate our families in challenging times makes a real difference. Highly recommend!

Sandra was delightful, friendly, and very personable. She had great recommendations for local spots based on our itinerary for the day, and gave us lots of local tips. Her place felt safe, and she had lots of thoughtful touches like snacks, drinks, books, and good shampoos and soaps! I would stay there again :)

Travis was a fantastic host. We rented both A&B suites which was perfect for our family of 4 (2 adults, 2 teenagers) The suite was clean and had extra blankets which were nice to use while sitting on the deck overlooking the ocean with our glasses of wine. Hot tub and workout facilities were good. The walking paths right outside the building were our favorite - takes you out to the ocean to play in tidal pools - so much fun! We would love to stay again next time we're in the area! It's a beautiful gem in a central location to Parksville and Nanaimo!

Home away from Home, is how I would describe this. From the moment we walked in, we felt like we were not only welcomed there but that we could feasibly own this place. We stayed a total of 5 nights, and were began to feel sad after the 4th night, knowing we would have to leave. Being literal steps from the ocean made for beautiful sunsets and serene mornings. The area is fairly well protected from winds as we were facing a North-West direction. The indoor pool, hot tub, gym and games room are all within a quick 3-minute walk. The indoor pool is very large with a large shallow area for the kiddo's. Indoor pool has a Dry Sauna as well. The hosts, Kimberly and John, are very communicative. There is a provided binder with local amenities and Places of Interest. We took their suggestions and had a wonderful time getting to know the area! All-in-all, we thoroughly enjoyed our time here. We have officially decided that we will be making Vancouver Island our yearly destination.

Bench 170 is a very special spot. As my nephew said on arrival, it's 10 out of 10. The house is beautiful and everything was of top quality, the proximity to the beach so great, and we've never experienced such thoughtful touches in all our combined travels. The home had everything we could anticipate, including laundry facilities, pantry items, toys for kids. It was a great combination of a gorgeous holiday home and it being a comfortable livable spot.

Enjoyed our stay at this duplex. It was very comfortable, quiet and everything seemed to be in good working order. Kitchen was well equipped for us. They had a cute back yard. It was perfect for us as it was close to our friend’s place. A few blocks away is a nice nature walk along the river.

Jennifer's house was perfect for us! The house is really cozy, beautiful outdoor spaces, quiet neighborhood with a lovely view of the mountains from the back deck. We especially appreciated that the kitchen was replete with good cookware! Jennifer was was very responsive and communicated really well. I'd highly recommend her home to anybody considering a visit to this lovely part of the island

Our 4th time at this lovely Airbnb. We truly think of it as our home away from home. Courtney is the best host!

This location was perfectly central to the attractions we planned on visiting, not to mention the breathtaking views! One of the cleanest properties I’ve stayed in with Airbnb and also contained all you needed everywhere from toiletries to bbq tools ! We will definitely be back and highly recommended this place to friends !

This was the most incredible little escape! The apartment was spotless, beautifully set up, and had everything I needed. The pull-out couch was comfortable, and the main bed was perfect for a great night’s sleep. The view from the front yard is absolutely stunning, with mountains that take your breath away. It is also so central, making it easy to get around Nanaimo. The owners are very friendly and welcoming, and their sweet big dog greeted me warmly from the upper deck, which made it feel even more like home. I could not have asked for a better place to stay. I would highly recommend this spot to anyone looking for a peaceful and beautiful getaway!

From the moment I walked in I already couldn’t wait to come back. The view was beautiful, and the space was spacious yet cozy. Being October it was a bit cooler in Qualicum, but with the electric fireplace and baseboard heaters I didn’t feel it inside! The kitchen had so many little touches that felt thoughtful, from drinks in the fridge, spices in the cupboard, and all the utensils and pans to cook a meal in. Barry was proactive with messaging and very responsive when I had a question ahead of my stay. A perfect weekend getaway!

Randy and Barb’s home was absolutely perfect. The condo is beautifully decorated and it’s even more lovely than the photos. The view is unmatched. We watched the tide come in and out each day. The peaceful water views are a dream. We usually visit Florida each year and this year we wanted to stay in Canada. My family had a fabulous time and we can’t wait to come back. Our three year old loved the playground and the kids hot tub that had a slide! Endless fun. The resort has a delicious restaurant, a spa, trails and kayaks. Everyone was so friendly. Incredible! This was truly the place to stay. Everything you need, comfortable and luxurious, location, easy communication start to finish. We are very happy with our stay.

This condo was so great! I could live here. It had pretty much anything you could need for a short or long stay. The full kitchen was nice with the full size, 6 person table. There were several condiments, tea and coffee left in the kitchen to use. The bathrooms and beds were beautiful. Even the hide-a-bed was fairly comfortable. The pool, hot tub and gym were in a different building so we only used them once. The beach and walking path were right outside the door. The walk is definitely worth it, even if you don’t have a lot of time. Other than the shoreline, Nanoose Bay is within an hour of many hikes, waterfalls and hidden gems to explore. We didn’t find a bakery or grocery store within walking distance. The closest would be Parksville which is not far. But you do have to drive or set out for a long walk. We will definitely stay again if we are in the area. Thank you!

We loved staying at Jordyn’s place as we went to the Grotto Spa at the tigh na mara very near by. It was convenient to get to the water and close to many amenities. We would be happy to stay there again.

The apartment had everything we needed and we felt right at home. The kitchen was well equipped, everything was well labelled and Andrea even had “kid” dishes so it suited us perfectly. There is a dishwasher which was great:. The place was tidy and clean. We had meals outside and enjoyed the view from the patio. The kids enjoyed the small outdoor pool which was heated. There is access to a marina from the property but no beach. Andrea was very communicative and responsive. She answered questions about the unit when needed and was helpful to provide local recommendations for beaches and things to do. We arrived late at night in the pitch dark but Andrea’s instructions to find the unit were helpful and much needed as there were no signs indicating any unit numbers that we could see. Overall it was a great stay and I would recommend Andrea’s apartment to anyone exploring Halfmoon Bay!

We loved our stay at Andrea’s place. It was extremely clean. The space had everything we needed even down to a bin of spare chargers! It was also very well equipped with everything we needed in the kitchen. It even had good coffee!!! The toys, books and board games were such a lovely touch and were so helpful for us entertaining our kids. I find traveling with children they aren’t always as welcomed but we certainly didn’t feel that during our stay here. We had the opportunity to request a high chair and pack and play (with a crib mattress). It was an easy walk to the beach and we very much enjoyed our time exploring what Parksville had to offer. It was April when we visited but the close proximity to the pool in the summer months would also be a hit. Andrea was very accommodating and we can’t wait to come back. I’d give her more stars if I could!
