Cecily’s place is so beautiful! Its matches the description, she is super proactive and left us clear instructions on how to check-in and what to do. It’s easy to get to amazing places like Hornby and Denmen Island for her place.

We had a great time staying here! Check-in was easy, it was very clean inside, bed was very comfortable & the decor was so lovely! Surrounding area was beautiful & great to walk around. There's a nice restaurant on-site which was very convenient! Lovely place to stay :)

The attention to detail made this interior space feel welcoming and inviting from the moment I arrived. I can't think of a thing that could have made it nicer. The views were everchanging with a variety of weather patterns during my stay. The ocean and sky were so interesting, even dramatic at times. From the windows I saw eagles, seals and the herring season that came and went, turning the water a tropical blue. So funny to see, when we know the ocean is freezing this time of year. Fishing boats were there a few days, taking their catch. Then walking in the neighbourhood, even the occasional deer to surprise you. So many paths to the beach to walk along the rocky shore when the tide is out. Daytrips are easy to go to everything, from this location. Just a short drive to the main highway and you can see so many interesting things available on central Vancouver Island. I imagine in the summer it would be even lovelier. The hosts were so friendly and helpful.

Jamie and Andy’s place a gem. We walked into a bright, modern, clean, and inviting space, with high quality finishings. The place was exceptionally well stocked and set up, and we loved all the little touches. The kitchen island is the island of my dreams, and the bathroom was *chef’s kiss*. The king bed was super comfy, and since we stayed for a week, we were happy to have a washer and dryer. Our hosts were kind and accommodating, and access to the Airbnb was private and easy. We highly recommend this wonderful place!

My two friends and I stayed here for the week we had school and it was probably one of the best places we have stayed. Very spacious, comfy beds, couch was big and nice to relax on after a long day at school. Kitchen had all the supplies needed. Nice to have the option for laundry as well. Very bright with all the windows. Short walk to the beach. Good storage for our paddle boards. Very responsive and friendly hosts. Quiet neighborhood but close enough to everything in town. We will be back here for sure!

This is a great place to stay in Cumberland. It is a 5 minute walk to the restaurants and we could bike to the mountain bike trails in minutes. Kelly was a great host and was very helpful with our bike storage which made our stay easy. The apartment was new and had everything you would need and more. We liked that this apartment had A/C and a washer and dryer. Would definitely stay here again. .

We had the most wonderful stay at this beautiful beachside rental! From the moment we arrived, we were struck by how peaceful and welcoming the space felt. Beach access was just steps away, making it easy to enjoy long walks, swims, and sunsets without ever needing to get in the car. The hosts were incredibly kind and responsive, providing helpful local tips and ensuring we felt at home. Every detail — from the cozy linens to the thoughtfully stocked kitchen — made it clear they truly care about their guests’ experience. This place is a gem. We left feeling rested, refreshed, and already dreaming about our return. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a peaceful escape by the sea.

Ingrid’s home is incredible and was an amazing place to stay for our wedding weekend. The home is beautiful and Ingrid left thoughtful touches around for us. Communication was excellent and we had everything we needed. Exceptional host and exceptional property.

My husband and I absolutely loved our stay - it was exactly what we were hoping for!!! The log cabin is cozy and beautifully furnished. The cabin was very clean and all amenities were above and beyond. Loved our evenings at the fire pit and soaking in the deep bath tub!

We had a great time at Scott's place. It was well equipped, comfortable and felt very homely and welcoming. Scott was very friendly and responded immediately to any queries. He gave us helpful tips for local walks and wildlife viewing. We particularly loved watching hummingbirds just outside the lounge windows. We would recommend Karmix Cottage to anyone wanting a get away from it all break, but within easy reach of beaches, waterfalls and forests.

We had an amazing time at Nash and Lou’s suite! Very friendly and proactive communication and their dog Ollie was the best host we could have asked for. She came to say hi to us every day and even hung out with us a while. The space was so beautiful and clean and the perfect spot to relax after exploring all day. Close to town and close to hikes! 12/10 would recommend and we hope to be back someday.

Absolutely in love with this place , beautiful interior, super comfortable bed, kitchen fully stocked with useful things for cooking lovers. Beautiful patio with the view, fire pit tanning beds, bbq. Electrical charger for the car was super useful. Also, we forgot a lot of things like picnic bag, beach blanket, Band-Aids, and even shaver. So they found all of this in the house. Thank you Perl for hosting us we definitely will be back

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in such a beautiful space. The place is spotless and very well stocked. It is clear that Elidah and Ed have put a lot of love and care into their home. We absolutely loved our stay at Ed and Trina's! The space was even better than we expected from the photos- tons of space and natural light. Bathroom, kitchen, living space, and bedrooms were all very clean. They included all of the amenities you could possibly need- and more! The personalized letter left for us on arrival along with a bottle of wine and yummy chocolates was so nice and made us feel very welcome. Great outdoor space for morning and evening and having a BBQ to use was a bonus. Very close driving distance to Seal Bay, Nymph Falls, etc. STAY HERE :)

We had a magical stay at the Beach House. Being able to walk barefoot right onto the beach was so special to us. When it rained we were still able to open the panel of patio doors to maximize our time with the beautiful landscape. Just a stunning place to stay. The Host was very responsive and wonderful to work with. The space was immaculate, cozy and had everything we needed!

My family and I had a wonderful stay. The resort had great amenities and a short walk to the beach. The suite itself was clean and well stocked. My family was very comfortable during our stay.

This a stunning home! The view of the beach from the living room and primary bedroom is beautiful. The bathrooms have heated floors. The kitchen has more than enough dishes, glassware and cooking equipment. We loved the pocket doors that opened up to the patio, enjoyed many meals outside and sat around the fire pit. The beach is just steps away and our dog had the best time! A basket full of beach towels is provided. Comfy blankets and pillows on the couch. The only critique we had was noise from connected units. Doors banging shut, footsteps on staircases, all seemed to shake our unit and disrupt the peacefulness of the location. Maybe that’s just to be expected though as the units are connected and on stilts. Regardless of the noise, we’d 100% return here!

We have had an amazing time! The place was stunningly beautiful with views and location to match. Darrell and Cheryl were the perfect hosts always ready to help when needed and gave us many ideas and options to visit and places to have a meal. My family and I had the most amazing time chilling on the beach and going to waterfalls but most of all just to relax in a beautiful spot and home. We will definitely be back. We all enjoyed our stay in your amazing place. The furnishings were very cozy and nice. The views were amazing, and it was very well stocked and clean. We would love to return again, if we can. It was very spacious for our five family members, and loved that everyone had an actual bbed to sleep in. The hosts were very accommodating, kind , attentive and responsive. It was easy to find, and in a central location We would highly recommended.?

Stephen's place was exactly as pictured and described - better, in fact! His place was warm, welcoming, and comfortable. The views were beautiful, and the property was family friendly and also peaceful. Our family made so many memories at the pool, on the beach, watching the bunnies play, and settling into the cozy unit. Stephen was great to deal with - organized, responsive, and friendly. We would highly recommend a stay at his place! We hope to visit again :)
