The Oaks, Twyford Moors, South Downs National Park

There is WIFI and a large dining table to work at. There is a fully equipped kitchen. The bed is a Superking. The Oaks is annexed to our house, so we are available to answer any queries, give guidance on places to visit and dine and usually we will be available to show you the property in person. Twyford Moors is an area of outstanding natural beauty in the South Downs National Park. The River Itchen, a famous chalk stream, is close by. This is also Jane Austen country—visit her home at Chawton, and Winchester Cathedral, where she's buried. There are beautiful riverside walks including a 2hr walk into the heart of Winchester along the water meadows and by St Catherine's Hill. There are country pubs and excellent restaurants available locally and 15 mins drive away in Winchester There is parking for one car under cover in the car port but also room in the drive for a second vehicle . There are some beautiful walks along the River Itchen nearby. The outdoor terrace area to The Oaks is not enclosed and young children would need to be observed when outside. We have two, small friendly dogs that may visit your terraced area as it is not enclosed.

Two nights at Lu and Dan's place. The family are very welcoming and friendly. Having read all the reviews about "Lu's excellent breakfast", we were so looking forward to it, especially as we had a back-to-back appointments the next day. However, upon arrival, Lu told us "no breakfast." she did not want to do breakfast anymore! I was not informed about this during my communication with Dan, and we were rather disappointed as we had to spend time dashing out the next morning looking for somewhere to eat. This aside, we still highly recommend this place which is clean, quiet and comfortable. The bonus also the fact you can park your car right outside your window!

Susie is a great host and was so helpful to us with check in. The guest house is very peaceful, lovely quiet situation at end of private drive. Guest house has all that you need for a stay. Comfortable bed and we slept really well both nights. Can recommend The Deers Hut pub for better than average pub food about a mile away. Thanks very much and if we have another event to attend in the area we'll be back!

Anda and Chris were the perfect hosts. They were supportive and reactive but also was aware of our privacy. Avenue nights was ideally placed to get into Southampton but in a beautiful position, secluded and peaceful, but with the city on the doorstep. It was tranquil and felt like a haven. The furnishings were well done and everything was very clean and tidy and comfortable. It was so helpful to have both kitchen and bathroom items supplied. The very best of AirBnB.

The Bothy, Bath, what an amazing airbnb. It was everything that was described and more. A pituresque, idilic place. Not a lot on the doorstep but lovely pubs within driving distance. A fantastic bus route on the doorstep at sensible prices, takes you straight into Bath, so no worry with parking. Richard and Lizzie are amazing hosts, very accomodating and approachable. The Bothy is just charming, it has everything you need and more, there are added extras of toiletries, tea, coffee, milk, cooking oil, kitchen roll etc, the list goes on, Richard looks after the grounds( his garden) beautifully and its a relaxing area to sit out in. We cant recommend this airbnb highly enough and are hoping to go back at some time xx

Amaizing annexe. Kim's place is located in the quiet neighbourhood. In a walking distance to beautiful river Hamble and the local marina. It is specious, spotless and very well equipped. Decorated with a great taste. This lovely place is provided with everything you need even for a longer stay. It is conveniently placed close to Tesco extra and bus stop to Southampton and Portsmouth. Fabulous 2 night break as in area for a wedding. Tina is a most welcoming host to arriving guests, the home has been well thought out & decorated to an extremely high standard. We stayed 2 nights, the accommodation was very clean and comfortable. The welcome brownies were yummy and the milk in the fridge was a life saver as we forgot to bring any! Looking to stay next year as we go to Dogstival and it was an easy drive to Burley. Lymington is a lovely dog friendly town with great cafes and pubs. Milford on Sea is good for a long walk along the beach with a view of the Isle of Wight and the Needles

What a beautiful home! We had a lovely long weekend break. Suzi was extremely welcoming and helpful. The offer to check in early was extremely appreciated. The bottle of wine and dog treats left for us was so nice to have waiting for us after a long journey. The property and location were beautiful. A really high quality feel with everything you could need. Having full access to the grounds of the property was a fantastic addition. Julie’s annex was really lovely. We stayed for one night as a quiet getaway. The instructions left made it very easy to find and get into the annex. Within 5 mins drive of Chipping Sodbury and walking distance of The Bell Pub. Would definitely stay again!
