Charming 2 Bedroom Thatched Cottage

CandiceRating, 5 stars10 months ago
Do not hesitate to book here. We had a lovely stay. Truly enjoyed the beautiful garden and charming thatched cottage. Susan is fabulous and very hospitable. Our daughter loved the large garden, trampoline and paddle pool. We loved dining al fresco and ending the evening in the cosy snug. Great shower and beds. A well stocked Co op just minutes away added to the convenience of staying in a rural location. Such a wonderful week. Thank you Susan!

This was our first stay at an Airbnb and it certainly set a high standard. We only stayed the one night for visiting Stonehenge but would gladly have stayed longer. The property was clean comfortable and had everything we needed. Would definitely use again if in the area.

Idyllic detached barn in tranquil NW Hants hamlet

TrishRating, 5 stars2 months ago
We had a fabulous stay at Lucy & Alex’s beautiful barn! Exceeded all expectations! A brilliant space with everything you could need to hand. Stand out feature was the wonderful projector, which we took advantage of the evening after having visited Highclere Castle, to watch the Downton Abbey film. Just perfect! Lucy was so thoughtful in providing both Downton Abbey films for us to watch during our stay. We’d had a long journey down to the barn and were so grateful to Lucy for supplying all the essentials for a much needed tea and toast break before we went for dinner at The Jack Russell (a wonderful recommendation from Lucy). It was great to meet Lucy & Alex (and the beautiful Mabel too), we’d love to come back for another visit!

Dragonflies Read Our Reviews Breakfast.

MeganRating, 5 stars3 weeks ago
Great value for money. Ann went over and above, as described on other reviews. Communicated brilliantly when we were informing her of what was going on after our car broke down. After a long drive it was great that some essentials were provided. There’s was great info and tips about the local area. She also left us a card and a sweet treat since we were on our honeymoon. The peg wall of leaflets is a lovely touch. Amazingly close to the white horse as well. We didn’t use the laundry facilities but it was great that it was there. Thanks for a great stay.

Sarah & Colin have a beautiful home which they generously share with travellers. This is a true English bed and breakfast experience. The location is terrific with easy access to the train station and walking distance to see all of the Winchester attractions. We also did the riverside walk to St Cross Hospital which was a lovely walk on a perfect summers afternoon. Sarah helped us with lots of information including catching the bus out to Chawton to visit Jane Austen’s House. A terrific visit thank you both
