Gaustablikk Skisenter is 50 km from the cabin. The cabin is well suited for families and guests who want tranquility, nature, views and great experiences all year round.

Experience real farm culture in an original halling house with charm. Here you can grind coffee beans in an old grinder and cook on a wood stove if you like. Refrigerator, freezer, and new bathroom are the latest additions. Hallingstugu is located on a farm in active operation with cows, sheep and garden hens. In the outdoor area there is plenty of room to ski and sled. Popular attractions nearby can be mentioned nesfjellet alpine, golf, nystølkroken cafe, langedrag nature park and endless cross-country ski trails. Everything within a few km by car.

Bakery a few meters away from the doorstep. Rjukanbadet 10 minutes walking distance. Leave the car in the free parking right outside the door. Free Mountain Bus takes you to Gausta/Gaustatoppen only 20 minutes away. The apartment is located in the middle of the city center but still withdrawn from the main street.

There is a short distance to Skirvedalen, where in winter there are miles of great ski slopes waiting for you. In summer there is a great swimming spot in the river nearby. There is also a short distance to Sandviken camping by Tinnsjøen which has a wide range of leisure activities. It is 30 km to Rjukan which is listed on UNESCO's World Heritage List. Here you can visit Vemork, Solspeilet, take the Krossobanen etc.
