From the moment we were greeted by Isabella, Massimo and their son, to the moment we said goodbye we felt right at home. The house is well located. It was nice to leave the hustle of the old city and retreat to the expansive peaceful terrace of the house for an “aperitivo” before dinner. The beds were comfortable and we all slept well after long days of touring. One of our favorite things was collecting water from the town spring, which was just a few doors away.

A spacious bathroom features a wooden countertop with two woven bowls. The entrance is framed by elegant arches, leading to a serene interior space with tiled flooring and a wooden partition. Natural light fills the area, highlighting the rustic textures and warm tones throughout.

What a beautiful accommodation in the tuscan countryside! We stayed here as a family of four and enjoyed Irenes wonderful house and garden. By car you can reach Lucca or the beach easily. Be aware of the steep dirt road leading to the house - an appropriate car is needed. We hope to be back soon - thank you, Irene!

Very nice calm area. We liked the saltwater pool very much. Lucca is not far away. The road to the accommodation is challenging, but you will be rewarded with a beautiful view of the valley. Glad to come back!

Luxury Tuscany Villa on the hill with private pool

We booked this for a girls holiday and we had the best week. We didn’t hire a car, we walked to a few of neighbouring towns and got a taxi to Lucca, and a train to Florence one day. Neighbouring towns have small supermarkets and the walks to them were enjoyable, the scenery is truly incredible. Lucca is beautiful and has incredible markets, it’s a must see if you stay here. The villa itself is exactly as shown in the pictures, the pool area is gorgeous, we sat around the table every night for dinner, and when it’s dark there’s clusters of fireflies sparkling in the roses, it was magical. Stefania was great, very responsive and there if we needed her. We’d definitely recommend and book this villa again in the future!

We had a wonderful stay. For a visit to Lucca, you can drive about 10 minutes by car to the city – parking was always available without any problems. The pool is excellent, and the wine tasting with Francesca was a real highlight. Nearby is the Vipore restaurant, which we highly recommend – it is easily accessible on foot in about 600 meters and offers a fantastic view. If you appreciate peace and simplicity, this is the place to be.
