Kid-friendly vacation rentals in Telemark

We were four ladies who stayed in Anne Marie's barn for a week while we were on a course at Rauland Academy. The academy is just a short walk from the barn, there is a short distance to the shops, the house was super cozy and the host responded quickly to our questions. I highly recommend a stay in the barn.

We spent 3 nights in Mette's house. The cottage is super cozy with great views of the Telemark Canal. If you are looking for peace and relaxation, this is the place. No TV or WiFi. However, we did not miss that. Mette was super nice and was always available. We would definitely stay there again.

My dog and I were in Norway for the first time and were looking for a place to stay from which we could explore the area. Ane's cottage was perfect for that. We not only had electricity and hot water, but also air conditioning and a brand new bathroom (even with underfloor heating). Upstairs there are more bedrooms if you're traveling in a group. Although the house is located directly on the street, the area is very quiet, as few cars pass by. The goats are curious at first, but then quickly occupy themselves and the grass in the meadow. I would recommend a stay at Ane's to anyone!

We had a really good stay at Karin and René's coziest cabin in Øvre Ramse. The most relaxing cabin, overlooking the most beautiful lake and in beautiful nature far from city life. The impressive mountain and the waterfall that you could hear at the house is so beautiful. There are beautiful and good hiking routes close by or a little drive from the cabin, we had a 3 year old on a trip. Their Youtube videos are easy to follow.

Really clean and cozy house in a calm neighborhood.

We stayed 3 nights and thought the stay was fantastic. The hosts were very nice and helpful. We would love to come back. The accommodation was very nice and unique. A perfect mix of old, personal and well-maintained but at the same time with all the modern you need in e.g. kitchen and bathroom. Highly recommended!

Beautiful and idyllic little house in the countryside. Quiet and peaceful location with access to dining area in the garden. Short distance to both Sommarland and Gygrestolen. Friendly host and flexible check-in. We cooked a little, but found what we needed of kitchen equipment. Super holiday with the kids.

Beautiful location to have the first night from the boat (Oslo). Very quiet, plenty of space for the girls to fly for a while. Into the woods and adventure to a meadow where there is still snow. At 45 minutes the waterfalls where we went straight through the water to reach them. Wet shoes? Doesn't matter! There was a shoe dryer available, just ready. Really ideal. Anything you need is present in this b&b. Host reachable and available if needed. All in all a lovely experience!!!!!

Clean, practical and newly remodelled space. Plenty of blankets and good smelling bedding. Good place to rest up and prepare a meal. Quiet and peaceful with a 4 minute walk to big grocery store. Host was friendly and informative.

Lovely, peaceful place to stay with a beautiful garden, conveniently located. The best part for us was the very friendly dog and cat :)

We had a short stopover of one night in the apartment. The apartment was clean and well equipped. There is a ski resort directly opposite, which of course makes more sense in winter.

it was in 1 word FANTASTIC! you don't find such an accommodation quickly. everything was really worth it. the bed was even an oolud ship and when we wanted we could look at the goats from the room. the cats were the most beautiful and sweet and the owners nice chill. we hope to come back one day

Had 2 employees staying there. They enjoyed their stay very much and the place looked as pictured. The landlord was easy to communicate with. We can imagine staying there there again.

Bente has always communicated in a timely and friendly manner. On arrival she greeted us and gave us local recommendations. She made us feel like at home. It has been a wonderful stay at her place

The place was perfect for our quick stop. Host was super helpful and accommodating. One of the few places that actually has bedding and towels. Great stay!
