It was our second holiday in Rauland and we felt very comfortable in Richard and Monica's house again. We were lucky with the weather. Every day we could enjoy the view of the fascinating mountains from the large terrace. The house is very cosy and the perfect place to relax after a ski tour. Richard and Monica are wonderful hosts and always very helpful. The central location of the house is ideal for winter sports and excursions in the surrounding area. We made it to the highest mountain Gaustatoppen this time and it was a great experience. Rauland is always worth a visit and we would love to come back.

Awesome cabin. Lovely surroundings. 2 times I have been there. Highly recommend! A little too cold in the winter when it is 15- degrees but otherwise tip top :) great brightened into the cabin. Delightful, very relaxing, more than satisfied with everything. There are no clear words for our 11 days there. The house is fantastically secluded on a lake that is outstanding. From there you could do a lot of hiking, fishing and without end picking blueberries and snacking because the whole area is booming. If you look closely, you will find Moltebeeren. The house is lovingly furnished. There's just nothing missing. Getting water and showering is an experience, so we appreciate the daily consumption again. It was a pleasure with Henriette who was always in contact with us and always took care of our well-being. We were also informed of information about heavy rain. This was our first vacation using Airbnb and we are impressed with the possibilities that were offered. The booked vacation home already impressed with its seclusion and natural location in the listing. On site, the experience was even more outstanding. The possibility of reaching the hut on foot was only possible with appropriate boots due to the weather conditions. With the rowboat, which is available, the arrival and luggage transport is no problem. Everything you need for a relaxing vacation is available in the charming log cabin. In the end, we had way too much luggage with us. There is no boredom at the house and property. Whether you explore the lake by boat, fish, collect mushrooms or explore the nearby hiking trails. As day trips, we used hiking routes to the peaks of southern Norway's highest mountains. Overall, we are 100% satisfied with the vacation. 👌🏻

Ivar was a caring wool host. He was thoughtful and made sure we were comfortable. The cabin was amazing. Absolutely deserted. We didn't meet a human. The peace and quiet was rewarding. We enjoyed the peace and nature was unique. A priceless experience in the mountains, in the woods, and by the lake.

Super clean, bed was extremely comfortable, had all the essentials from towels to coffee to saucepans, an amazing view, and Victoria was SO SO helpful and kind!!! Would definitely recommend and come again :)

A lovely place to come to be able to unplug 100% from everyday life. Beautiful view. Also got a good explanation of where we could walk up on the oak map peak that can be highly recommended. Easy trip that took us a total of 1 hour. Only 10 minutes drive from the place. In addition to the view, the goats and dog Dagny were great entertainment from the window. Local cider and eggs from the hens helped put the icing on the cake for us. All in all a wonderful stay for a couple with child-free🤗

We had wonderful days in this magnificent landscape and in the charming cottage. It has everything you need. We were able to relax wonderfully, hike or take a boat on the lake

We were two families with 4 small children on a trip. Great cabin with lots of nice toys for the little ones both outside and inside. Short way up to Liatoppen with brilliant trails in the mountains. The tour past the sports chapel, up to Solobua and down again to the parking is recommended with the little ones. Nice cabin, we would love to come back again 😀

A very good place to stay for a weekend with a group of friends with a very pleasant environment. The provided kayaks are a very nice touch and it's very fun to try it ! 100% would come back.

A beautiful and peaceful place of which we will keep wonderful memories! We immediately felt at home in this little cocoon by the water. Lots of charm, great tranquility and a soothing view. Awesome apartment, centrally located in Helgeroa. Clean and tidy apartment, which contained everything we needed. Quiet and beautiful surroundings. Short distance to restaurants and beach. We brought bikes and it was a great experience and was able to bike around and just enjoy the nature and surroundings.
