I'm seriously amazed at the attention to detail through out the house. i enjoyed the hot tub while I admired her annuals on their plantars. The kayaks were so much fun and relaxing. And after a fun-filled day of hikes and other adventures sleeping on the comfortable beds renewed us for more fun. Kim is very polite and communicates very well. She is great host with a great property that makes us want to return.

Amie’s place was great and was perfect for our trip. I was in Peoria with a colleague for a work trip, and this was a much nicer option than being in yet another bland corporate hotel! This property feels professionally managed and everything we needed was supplied. The kitchen was well equipped, linens were plentiful and new, and there were helpful extras (first aid, kitchen spices, iron and board, even a sewing kit) that you don’t always see in other places. TV and internet worked great. Everything was clean and comfortable. The area is quiet and wooded, but just a few minutes from downtown. The road below can be busy at times and the cars are moving quite fast (as there are no intersections nearby), so the left turn into the driveway can feel dicey if there’s oncoming traffic. Although, we didn’t notice any traffic noise in the evening and the bedrooms are towards the back, so it was quiet for sleeping. Overall, a great stay and we’d be happy to visit again in the future.

I did trip over an uneven sidewalk and there was supposed to be a first aid kit that went missing. the only thing we wished is that there had been room for 2 chairs as both of us have bad backs and sitting on the bed was not a great option. other than those 2 things..the place was perfect!
