Words cannot describe how beautiful this place is! Loved our stay here and will book again! Peaceful and private. Would recommend a hire car to get to the local shops and main towns. We didn’t and managed to get cheap taxis everywhere which was fine, but next time we would hire a car to fully explore. Ruth is an amazing responsive host WiFi is slow but that makes it even more peaceful! Friendly cats came to visit Love this place and can’t wait to return !

We spent a great holiday with Mike as a family with 2 children with an amazing view of mountains and sea and plenty of tranquility away from mass tourism. Mike is a very enjoyable and child-friendly host. He had great hiking tips for us and showed the children a lot in nature. Thank you very much for this!

Irene was a great host, very friendly and kind. The place is very clean, spacious and has everything you need. The WiFi connection is not the best, however that can be a good thing as it helps you unplug from the digital world and live more in the real one. Getting to the location takes about 1.5 hours from the airport and the road is very scenic. For those less used to driving on bendy mountain roads might be an intimidating experience at first, as it was my case, however after a few days you get used to it and the views are amazing. If you feel like spending more time locally, Aldea has a decent variety of restaurants, shops and supermarkets all within walking distance from Irene's place. The town is very quiet and peaceful and the people are very nice. Getting to the beaches in the south takes between 50 to 70 minutes, depends where you want to go. Overall, I was very pleased with my stay at Irene's, it's very good value for the money and I highly recommend it.

The house is as pictured and very nice. For a hot summer it is certainly great in the mountains with pool and then the fruits are certainly also ripe. The journey is very tedious and you can't necessarily be anxious. Beautiful house, bakery and small supermarket immediately. For everything else you definitely need a car and have to like long curvy rides 😊
