Mansion vacation rentals in Tainter Lake

This place is absolutely gorgeous! We used the space for our wedding weekend and to get ready for the wedding. Denise was amazing. She was very communicative! She popped in and said hi and also added some cute little decorations. It was very clean and tidy. Check in and checkout were both super easy as well.

Tom was incredibly communicative and responsive from the beginning. The house is comfortable and cozy with the most amazing view of the lake in the back with easy access. The bedrooms were spacious with very comfortable beds. Overall e kept commenting the whole weekend that we wanted to stay much longer. We have stayed at other houses in this area and for a larger group this house stands above all the others.

Light over table would’ve been a help! Need to have grab bars by stools and tub and showers! Raised stools!

Tram was very friendly and easy to work with. The house was perfect for our large family. The view of the lake was beautiful. The house was very clean, uncluttered and spacious. All the cooking utensils you could need and everything was labeled, which was so helpful. Even though our week had -15 below temps the house was cozy. There was plenty of things to do in the area. Chippewa Falls is very quaint, and the candy store is awesome! Looking for snow next time so we can snowmobile and would definitely rent again.

Our family enjoyed both cabins. Everything was clean and they did extra little things to make the stay more enjoyable. My wife was very impressed with the amount of cookware and utensils. The best part was the yard area along the lake. All kinds of nice outdoor furniture, lighting and fire pits. Of course there are a few changes I would suggest, but overall a good choice on the property and Kristine.

We had 2 families of 4 (with teenagers) staying at the end of July. It was a great week! House was more then big enough to accommodate all of us comfortably. The basement is big enough that we were able to separate by family so that everyone could have their own space for sleeping or privacy if needed. Main floor is huge and everyone enjoyed the deck as well. The dock setup is great. We had 2 boats and 2 jet skis and were able to moor them all securely. The boat lift was open and available to use which was nice. We would (and probably will) stay at Ravensong again!

Plenty of room and space to move around and relax. With multiple sitting rooms and places to sit outside there was always a location to hang with company and just chat. Both bathrooms were clean with hot water and good water pressure. But the view...the view from the bedroom and sitting area was PHENOMENAL. We lost count of the bald eagles we saw. My favorite part was the bicycles provided. Honestly the highlight of the trip was biking into town, seeing a Mrs. Roper Romp taking place, and grabbing breakfast from a cafe. Loved this place and would recommend to anyone.

We had a women’s retreat here and it easily accommodated the needs of all of us, from space to do yoga to intimate space for conversation and connection. The views of the lake were gorgeous, the hot tub with a view of the lake was amazing, the sleeping spaces were perfect (memory foam mattresses?! 😍) and the welcome gifts from the hostess were so sweet!

The view was amazing. Breanna was very responsive. The stay was comfortable.

We loved our stay at The Maiden Rock Retreat. Deb and Dan’s place is so cool. It has everything you need for an excellent stay. The bar room is a great place to hang out.

Wow….what a beautiful place. Everyone commented how nice and ‘hygge’ everything felt. We were 3 adults with 4 teens and the place was just perfect. Definitely a perfect 10. We’re already planning a return visit.

What a beautiful home! Inside was well appointed, cozy, charming and modern. We felt immediately at home. The view outside was spectacular! Watching the eagles soar and deer walk through the properties, and the sun set over the lake, it was idealic. We enjoyed cooking and needed nothing, had a sunset fire overlooking the lake, played scrabble, and snuggled up for movies once the sun went down. Thank you for sharing your home with us, our Easter gathering was perfect.

We had a girls weekend and this house and location were perfect. The views from the living room and deck are priceless. I would highly recommend staying here. There was plenty of space for our group of 6 friends. The house is in close proximity to do so many activities. It was a great spot for a weekend getaway.

We wish to thank our hosts Lisa and Sandy,the housekeepers Charlotte and Jamie for a most magnificent stay. We chose The Otter Creek Inn for large accommodations privacy. beautiful grounds , convenient location. perfect hosts and we were not disappointed. Above and beyond. Pristine house. Plenty of coffee. great locations. We also recommend The Altoona Family restaurant only .5 miles away. Also 5 star. We were a party of 10 .All were very happy here.. We'd return in a heartbeat. Lovely, friendly hosts.

The view was outstanding and the host was great: very responsive, great with "housewarming" provisions, etc. The accomodations were comfortable for our 3-generation group of 10. The driveway was a bit scary (but that comes with the view!). For us it seemed like off-season, and so the prices seemed a bit high, but for all those ice-fisherman (we had no idea that it would still be going strong), I suppose it was still high season. Two of our group managed to get out for a run 2 out of the 3 mornings we were there. But be aware there is no shoulder on the highway right at the house. We enjoyed the shops that were open in the town of Stockholm, and walking out on the river/lake there. We also enjoyed a hike up at Maiden Rock bluff trail.

We love Camp Clever Bear for a weekend getaway for our families. We had a great time playing yard games, making s'mores, and enjoying the Fall weather. Love all the upgrades since we were there last year.

It was our annual girls weekend destination this year!!! Perfect for all six of us! We loved sitting on the deck listening to the lake! The beds were comfortable, nicely decorated, loved the big table for meals and games, just an overall great, cozy home! Michelle communicates quickly and directions are clear for checking in and out! Thank you Michelle for such a welcoming home!

This place was perfect for my family and parents while we were in town visiting my son who attends the university. We would stay again!

I loved loved this place! It was peaceful and just right for the seven of us. Maggie was an excellent host. I would love to stay here again. It is adorable and cozy with plenty of space.

Had a wonderful stay for a weekend of board games with friends. Enjoyed walking the property, meeting the horses and the friendly dogs from a nearby home. Would definitely stay here again.

We found it very easy to settle into this cozy yet spacious home which has plenty of character and nice amenities. The sunset view from the home was particularly beautiful. The interior is pleasantly decorated with color accents and has an overall tone of peacefulness with a slightly rustic touch. We appreciated the private nature of the home and property, which is also very close to groceries and other off-site services. We also appreciated the excellent wifi! Rachel is a superb Host. She responded promptly to our questions and gave us detailed and practical information when needed. We liked this site so much that we made another reservation, for later this year!
