Beth was awesome to work with. Extremely responsive, and so kind and flexible to allow us to check in early with our baby so she could catch a nap. We used this space with friends for a wedding in that area and it was perfect. Highly recommend staying here.

We had a wonderful stay at this house! The slip and slide was great, hot tub was perfect, and the house was just as pictured. Kelly was very responsive to any questions we had and even brought over more brownies after I let her know the first batch was so good, they were gone the first day. Our group talked about coming and staying again! Highly recommended!

We’ve rented Danielle’s lake house for 3 years in a row. The house is beautiful and has plenty of room for all our family and friends. The property is private with no close neighbors so the dogs can run free and we don’t have to worry about them going too far. You get to catch the most beautiful sunsets. This is our favorite lake house to rent for a peaceful long weekend filled with lots of friends and family.

What a fabulous stay! The host was a gem, and the home itself? Wow—like an HGTV dream come true. We practically melted into the super comfy bed and felt like royalty in the master bathroom. The kitchen was fully equipped for our culinary escapades (a.k.a. making midnight snacks). We had two fire pits to choose from—double the getting toasting fun! Nature even decided to put on a show for us: bald eagles soaring above, turtles laying eggs in the back yard, and a raccoon giving us the ultimate “party crashers welcome” stare from the treetops as we sipped cocktails by the fire. And those sunsets? Like a live painting with boats drifting by. 10/10—would definitely stay again, especially if we can book the raccoon as our plus-one next time!

We had an excellent friends getaway - the house was right on the water with lots of lighting and plenty of space for everyone. Would definitely stay again!

My family had a wonderful stay at Grey Duck Lodge. The house is beautiful and comfortable, and we appreciated the welcoming touches. I come from California every year to see my dad, but this was the first time staying in a house with my brothers and their wives. Grey Duck was perfect for this, lots of room to stretch out with plenty of spaces to be together and separate. There’s plenty to do in the area so we had the perfect combination of being active and relaxing. Kathy was great with quick responses to my questions. We also loved the selection of games since it rained quite a bit while we were there. We will definitely consider staying again next year.

We truly enjoyed our stay at the Lily Pad and highly recommend!! In town for grad party. The retro vibe and turntable was a lot fun for our adult family group! Dock was able to fit small group too so we could enjoy the lake close up when weather permitted. Loved camper option too but didn’t use this time due to chilly weather. We enjoyed take and bake pizza option from The View tavern and baked at the pad to perfection. Recommend no larger than 12” size. Hot showers, clean bathrooms and air conditioning or heat worked well. Accommodations thought through very well in every room. We would definitely stay again. Doodles were happy too; thankful to have option. Pontoon delivered to the dock via Lake Wissota Pontoon Rental. You won’t be disappointed on this property!!!

It was perfect for what we needed. Glen was very accommodating and helpful in his communication. We would stay there again when we ever back in the area.

Our group enjoyed the beautiful surroundings. We saw sandhill cranes, deer, an eagle, and some very cute baby raccoons over our weekend stay.

The place was clean and the neighborhood was quiet. It was nice to gather in one place vs being separated by hotel rooms.

Our family truly enjoyed our stay. The weather was a little rainy, but even on the rainy days there was plenty of family fun to be had. And we were able to take advantage of the beautiful moments when the sun did peak out and get out and enjoy the beach and the kayaks and the firepit. It was a perfect getaway!

We enjoyed our stay here. Suzette is a great host. Coffee shop below is very cute and great scones! It’s old and historic so that adds to the beauty of the building. The small town has great shopping! Will for sure return.

This house had most everything we needed for an enjoyable long weekend at the lake. The kids had a blast swimming in the pool and playing the arcade games. It was also great having a couple of kayaks to take out on the lake; many in our group gave them a try. We had a toilet that would no longer flush due to a broken flapper and Andy had someone out to fix it the same day we reported it - on a Sunday! A very enjoyable weekend retreat for our group of 13.

We were a team of 5 guys doing a trade show 30 minutes away. Everything about the Big Blue House was exactly what we needed and more. We especially enjoyed the small, but active area of Downtown Balsam Lake.

Linda's place was fantastic - as was Linda. She was incredibly responsive and worked really hard to get the pool up and running as quickly as possible during our stay (a gift considering the unusually hot weather we had in early May during our stay). The house was immaculate and had everything we needed in terms of kitchen supplies, toys for the kids, linens, and plenty of spaces for people to relax and unwind. We loved it so much we are hoping to either return to Linda's place one day or get a place of our own in Chippewa Falls.

We used the Pool House for a leadership retreat. The accommodations were outstanding. The pool saw some use as one of the days was rainy and cool. The outdoor space was great for yard games and we made use of the tennis court. The house was spacious, clean, and items were easy to find. I would definitely recommend it for family vacations or a retreat.

Our family really enjoyed our stay. We enjoyed the arcade. The view is beautiful. We definitely would come back.

The home was the perfect size and accommodation for our group! The view and the yard are spectacular. We all had a great time catching up. Just a couple things to note. Ubers, lyfts, and local taxis are not easily accessible, especially if you have a dinner reservation to make. The second is that you are expected to wash, dry, fold, and put away towels before check out, which we had never heard of having to do before, particularly with a higher cleaning fee. We honestly probably would have brought our own towels if we had known this. Overall we really enjoyed our time here!

Such an incredible home and property. We had a stellar time and everyone had comfortable space, beautiful views, and incredible vibes!!
