What a total pleasure loved the place , Lucie is the perfect host even thing went as planned, would highly recommend staying nothing was too much trouble and great location

Extremely happy with our stay, Jemina was very responsive and made us feel welcomed. Was also able to cater for our 5 year old boy which was amazing! He immediately walked in and told us what he loved about the place, which made us feel more at ease knowing he was happy and felt safe in the new environment! Ideal location, with shops, a pub and some eateries right on the door step. We cannot fault our stay here and will certainly be returning if we are back in the area. This is a great property for an extended grown up family with all bedrooms en-suite and plenty of parking space. It was in a good location, fairly quiet but close to a Tesco express and to the town centre. We used it as a base for a day trip to York which was a fairly easy journey of approx 30 minutes. The host Helen, was lovely and very quick to respond to any questions/messages.

We have absolutely loved Hedgehog cottage from the minute we arrived. So quiet and peaceful. Immaculately clean and nothing has gone unthought of. Dog blankets for the pooch, shower gels for the humans and even softener/ wash etc. we have extended our stay even longer as this is the perfect spot for us! The Sunday dinner at bricklayers is to die for and the fish and chips! We have yet to try pie night though!! Just the nicest hosts and always on hand to answer questions. Really comfy beds and loads of clean bedding etc in cupboard! 13/10
