House vacation rentals in Swanage

We stayed at Sam’s place to celebrate my husbands birthday. From the start Sam was responsive, friendly, answered questions and gave some fab advice. When I made a request she did everything she could to make it happen. The caravan itself is in a lovely peaceful part of the park with easy walking distance to the woods for the dog to have a run and also to the beach where we wandered to the pub and then back for an ice cream. Sam clearly explained how everything worked, where everything was & what she was doing to make things perfect for her guests. Her guide for things to do was really helpful so our days were filled and never dull. I would call this caravan a proper family home, it does everything it’s suppose to so you can just relax and enjoy your holiday. When I had some sad family news, Sam went out of her way to make sure we were ok and that we didn’t need to rush out the caravan on check out, so if you want a proper family home from home that does what it says - visit here! 🩷

Fabulous property great pool and hot tub would highly recommend to any families for holidays

This is our second time staying in this lovely caravan. It’s always pristine and lovely. I always felt like a home away from home there. The bedrooms are a good size and the extra full bathroom is a definite plus! I’d highly recommend staying here.

Absolutely fabulous place to stay , i had a special birthday so got the family together . The house is so well equipped to high standard. The pool is brilliant nice temperature and big enough to feel like your doing your lengths in exercise, brilliant setting to sit round. Can't find anything bad to say about the place Nice kid's area with swings and trampoline.

location was absolutely perfect for a relax and a decent walk everyday, we paddle boarded up the coast both ways and the scenery was stunning and finished most days with a swim in the pool. if you're after a close too everything place too stay this isn't the place for you but if you're looking for a break away from the world then this will tick all your boxes 🤗

We had a blissful few days at Flint cottage. Wonderful kitchen to cook in, and multiple fabulous farm shops nearby. We ordered a heat and eat pie and a DIY breakfast pack for our first night, which made the start of the holiday so much more chilled out. The outdoor bath was also really special. We were so comfortable throughout we just relaxed completely. Can’t wait to come back!

We just returned from a great stay. there were 10 adults and a baby in our group. The facilities were great and just as described. The house was very comfortable and clean and had everything we needed and more. Definitely a home to suit all ages.

The house is exactly as advertised. Spotlessly clean. The rooms are spacious. The whole house is very well maintained. The location is superb. Absolutely nothing to complain about. I would thoroughly recommend it. Our hosts were very easy to contact and made sure we knew everything and had everything.

The house was great for 12 of us, aged from 60s down to a 1 year old. Plenty of space for everyone and comfy beds. Also, enough crockery, cutlery, glasses, saeting etc for this number of people. The area is beautiful and perfect for a traditional seaside holiday. Jenny was very friendly and helpful and I would definitely recommend staying here.

Clean,comfortable,quiet.Lovely cottage . Welcome bottle of Milk and a welcome cake that was delicious, thank you. Nice that is dog friendly, for well behaved dogs, which ours are. Near all the local attractions, castle, coast and beautiful country side. Thank you for a love mini holiday, we would love to come back again X

Ideal base for walking in the Purbecks. We felt right at home and the field out the front was perfect for early morning walks with our collie. Great walk into Wareham too. Comfy bed and well equipped kitchen.

It was great experience staying at The Cobweb cottage as it is very beautiful, nice and clean. We enjoyed our time there. I also would like say special thanks to Celia who was very proactive and responsive to our request.

We had a lovely weekend at Sophie’s house, the location is fab and the house has everything you need. It was ideal for 2 families and a dog.

We have had a lovely stay at this beautiful cottage with the family this May half term. The house itself was very stylish and clean, had everything you would need for a Comfortable stay. The Garden was beautiful and huge, the BBQ area was great and we very much enjoyed out evenings meals out there under the heaters listening to music. The location of the house was great, a short drive to many popular attractions, we went to Weymouth one day, Durdle door/ Lulworth cove another and Corte Castle itself. Across the road is a lovely walk up to the castle from the house, roughly 3 miles in total there and back, our littles ones loved it. Paul was a great host, always very good at responding to requests/ messages. Sent us some great local recommendations too. Would definitely recommend this home stay to friends and family.

Just perfect ! Beautifully appointed accommodation which is both a touch of luxury and homely. The location could not be better , in the centre of Christchurch which is a friendly pretty town with lots of restaurants and shops. Excellent public transport so you can take a break from driving ! Chris and Judy catered for our every need and more .The welcome treats are a lovely touch .They are very responsive and friendly but very discreet . This is our favourite UK holiday destination Chris and Judys' will now be our 'go to' accommodation .

Great stay in Corfe Castle. Beautiful, well maintained and very well furnished property. Everything and more that was needed was available in the cottage. Very comfortable and large lounge area. Beds were comfy and the kichen had everything you required if you wanted to prepare your own meals. The decor in every room was tastefully done and the bathrooms were spotless. It had an artificial lawned garden with was ideal and patio table and chairs, which we we used regularly for breakfast as the weather was so good. Slight negative for some people might be the location of the property next to a main A road. We knew about this before we arrived, so it didn't bother us but the location for the village is great, a 10 minute walk to Corfe castle. We would definitely use this property again.

Val’s place was lovely! A real home from home. Comfortable beds. Plenty of kitchenalia and a beautiful peaceful garden. We very much hope to return at some point. Only one point to note is that the main drive into the property is very narrow (we have a large car). My advice would be to only use that if you have a smaller car otherwise use the parking by the garage, which was absolutely fine to access. Thanks for a wonderful stay Val

The lighthouse at Anvil Point was characterful and set in a stunning location. It was well equipped with everything that we needed and was perfect for a relaxing summer break! Thank you for sharing it with us!

An absolutely beautiful home with outstanding facilities - our stay was perfect from start to finish. Gemma was incredibly helpful and attentive in the lead up. We couldn’t have asked for anything more!

We were a large family group ranging from grandparents to grandchildren and we all had a great time staying at Poundbarn which suited all ages perfectly. The setting is lovely and the house, which is a barn conversion, is very comfortable and well equipped. The kids enjoyed the games room, playing in the garden, and visiting the horses. The separate downstairs Granny flat was particularly helpful. Although the house is in a very rural setting there is quick and easy access to all parts of Purbeck, including Swanage, Wareham and the beaches by car. Sarah and Julian are excellent hosts, Sarah met us on arrival and was very available, she also gave us some useful local recommendations. Overall a great holiday, we all want to go back and are looking forward to another visit. Highly recommended!

The property is idyllic, felt completely seperated from real life. So calm and peaceful. Our children were thrilled with the garden, the wildlife, the trampoline the hide an seek!! Gutted we only had thee nights. Thank Laura.

Really enjoyed our stay at Deer Hollow. Very comfortable home with everything we needed. Great location and we found plenty to do within easy reach for the 4, 8 and 12 year olds. Pizza night at Old Harry’s Bar just down the road was a great find, and the Water Park was a real success… had to go back for a second round!

Accommodation totally met our expectations. Loads of maps etc and local information. Fully enclosed garden which kept our dog safe. On the one wet day, resorted to the extensive DVD & book range. Very comfortable place just to chill and we are looking forward to our next visit.

Our stay at Sea Pilot’s Cottage was absolutely amazing, we loved every minute! Our hosts were extremely friendly and helpful. The cottage itself was stunning, with beautiful decor and lovely homely touches like fresh flowers and a bottle of fizz on arrival. The location was amazing, and the view is quite spectacular! Thanks for everything!
