If you are looking for a romantic escape in the New Forest, just a short walk from the pub and open forest, then look no further. Situated in the grounds of an impressive country house, the Goat Shed is the stylishly renovated ground floor of a 19th century barn, with a kingsize four poster bed, claw foot bath and woodburning stove. Deer roam through the gardens, and our wood burning stove makes nights in perfectly cosy. A great spot from which to explore the forest, or simply relax in comfort.

It is situated on the Isle of Purbeck, which is an excellent location for outdoor activities and discovering the delights of the world heritage Jurassic Coast. Positioned close to the Priests Way path you can explore a number of great coastal walks. Or you could just pop across to the fantastic local pub for a pint and bite to eat.

Stockman's Cottage sits in the middle of our farm, far away from the road but just a short walk to the village. Eclectic style with modern amenities. Bed will be setup as SuperKing but can be twin on request. Walk-in shower, full kitchen and separate lounge, with tea, coffee & plus our farm eggs. Private access and I am usually around to help if needed. We have a variety of rare breed animals on the farm. Great location for exploring the fabulous Dorset countryside and coast.

Sleeping areas are open plan but have thick curtains that can be drawn to create a private and cosy space. Our converted coach house offers a cosy corner in the busy village of Downton from which to visit the historic cathedral city of Salisbury and the open spaces of the New Forest. Parts of the property date back to 1475 with links to the Bishops of Winchester. There is plenty on offer in and around the village, with local shops, gardens, pubs, walks and bicycle rides along the River Avon. Bournemouth beaches are not far away. We welcome dogs (please see info regarding fee).
