In South Funen, close to Faaborg, on the edge of the forest out to Arreskovsø, is our beautiful tent. Overlooking the lake, horses, cows, breathtaking nature and if luck is with you the sea eagle. A double bed and beautiful terrace to relax on create the setting. The tent is located at the top of a large forest garden, with its own water, electricity and access to toilet and bath in the main house. Take a stroll in the beautiful vast expanses, or sit and listen to nature while enjoying coffee and wine. Breakfast is available, and total disconnection is available.

Gitte and Kristian greeted and showed us around. They told vividly about the island and their sheep-holding place. The house is a really cozy "tiny house", the toilet is on its own and the communal kitchen had what we needed. We bought dinner at a road stall, Gitte complementary with leaf beds, onions and cabbage from her kitchen garden, and not least with a delicious tzatziki from her kitchen. A place where shoulders came all the way down. We can recommend the place and will be happy to come again.

We loved everything about this place!! I loved the thatched roof and the very peaceful surroundings. Beautiful hay fields and open sky surrounded us. The room we stayed in was quiet and there was another room to read and relax in as well as an outdoor seating area. Germaine put really nice sheets on the beds and provided us with a nice breakfast of cheeses, meat, yogurt and pastries. If you are a traveler who likes quiet surroundings this is the place for you. I highly recommend!

I have been to countless AirBnb in both abroad and not least in Denmark for the past many years and never have I experienced such a loving and welcoming couple as Kris and Elena. I felt welcome the second I stepped inside and have received a superb treatment from arrival to end. The next time I'm on Funen's beautiful country, I'm not sure where to stay again! Kris and Elena, their cute kids and super nice house get my warmest and best recommendations. Here you really get something for your money - other than a really good bed to sleep in. Out of heart!

Expect to live in a perfectly maintained old castle located in serene nature. Internet and 4G barely usable :) But if you are in for the real thing, it’s an out-of-this world experience which we completely enjoyed as a family. It was a memorable stay for all of us!! Tasty and rich breakfast as well.

Great location out to nice bathing water and lovely, quiet atmosphere where Lene gave us the feeling of 'home'. She's created an inspiring, casual setting, and the place has a touch of creativity and a great taste on all the leads and edges. The breakfasts are totally jam-packed, with homemade jams, juices, and well-prepared eggs straight from the chicken coop.

The place was a wonderful retreat for 2 days for me. The rooms are in the basement, but very homely and lovingly furnished. Everything was as described. You share a bathroom with the owners. My highlight was the underfloor heating in the bathroom😌. I would come back!!
