Luxurious Craftsman in Historic San Marco

RobertRating, 5 stars3 weeks ago
I had a wonderful week at Mike's place. I was travelling for work, and it was a very cozy home for the week, perfect for getting work done and also relaxing. The bed was incredibly comfy and I was happy to take advantage of the jacuzzi and fireplace at night. The area is quiet and safe, with a fine dining restaurant next door and a nearby shopping area with book stores, restaurants, cafe's and clothing stores - not to mention Millie's Ice cream (highly recommended). I was able to catch a beautiful sunset a few times just by walking over to the riverside, about five minutes walk from the house, and the beach was also fairly close. Mike was very responsive and courteous, a fabulous host. I spent the whole week smiling with the satisfaction of having made a good choice by staying at Mike's place.

Cozy ranch near Jax

April was exceptionally attentive and proactive when there were minor issues, but these actions never altered the overall positive experience of our stay. The property is truly delightful, and the location is situated in a peaceful neighborhood. We make annual trips to Florida, and this place will undoubtedly be our preferred choice for future visits.

Craftsman Studio near Cascade's Park - downtown

Fred And BelindaRating, 5 stars2 months ago
Lovely surroundings, beautiful neighborhood near a park. Quincie had coffee and creamer, croissants, a bottle of wine, and oranges (grown on the property) waiting when I arrived. Easy to communicate with, accommodated my late night arrival. Very private setting. My only comment is that if the smell of woven (beautiful) rugs bothers you, there is that smell because many are stored there, as in the pictures. It isn't a strong odor, but present. There are windows, a door and French doors to open however if you are bothered by it.

King&3 bunks-Priv Bath, low cleaning fee

JonRating, 5 stars2 months ago
Our family of 8 stayed here for one night on our way up north. We are very grateful that this family hostel still exists! This is right downtown in the historic district and so everything is very walkable. Jenny and crew make everything very hospitable with a game for the children to play when they check in, games in the tv room and pancakes made for everyone in the morning. :) Great for a family that wants to explore St Augustine.
A charming two-story building is framed by tall palm trees adorned with lights. The exterior features two levels of covered porches with white railings, with warm light glowing from the windows. American and Florida state flags are displayed, contributing to the welcoming appearance.

The Staff was friendly and helpful. They always asked if there was anything they could do for us. The Breakfasts were just what we needed to start the day full of walking and enjoying old town St. Augustine. We enjoyed being able to walk about town but return to 44 Spanish Street to rest, reading books in our room or out on the upper porch. The charming location was perfect because it was quiet but we could walk a couple of blocks to get involved with the night-life. We would stay there again.

Princess Margaret at the Bayfront Marin House

ThomasRating, 5 stars14 months ago
Stayed here to celebrate my wedding. Looked exactly like the pictures and Sandy was very responsive. She answered all questions and was extremely helpful. Room was very clean and bathroom was huge. Hotel staff was friendly and offered local recommendations for meals and other activities to do. The only problem is the lack of parking. There is a private parking lot around the corner from the hotel. It’s a bit of a walk. So I recommend trying to park in front of the hotel, you just have to pay. Besides the parking, would definitely stay again.

Home-Cooked Meals & Peaceful Retreat in Georgia

JessicaRating, 5 stars5 months ago
We thankfully were able to return to Ange's BnB just before the Thanksgiving holiday and catch up on some needed R&R, and just like our first time, we felt such joy and comfort and our stay really helped us have an incredible vacation. Ange and her human + fur companions are truly all sweethearts and they could charge us extra for their wonderful hugs, but their generosity knows no bounds among all the other spoils they provide. The gift alone of her mouthwatering culinary spoils would be worth the trip, but the oasis she's created too nourishes our hearts and spirits, especially for everyone in our family, which is no small feat given everyone's preferences, dietary constraints, and disability challenges yet she somehow does it all. Sincerely, if you have the opportunity to arrange a stay at Ange's, don't hesitate and prepare yourself for the multitude of spoils! Thank you Ange & co!!!

I stayed at this Bed and Breakfast for one night to celebrate the Fourth of July at nearby lake . The host Brantley was very friendly . He was there to greet me and allowed me check in early . He went out of his way by offering me a ride to the lake I was heading to ,which I greatly appreciated. I stayed in a room called the patriotic room that is American themed , it was very apropos considering I stayed on Independence Day . Brantley took my gluten allergy to heart and made me gluten free waffles for breakfast the next morning which I thought was very thoughtful . Overall it was a short one night stay but enjoyed myself
