Tiny house vacation rentals in Suwannee River

It was a cute little cottage. I will say the photos are a little different from what it actually looks like. Definitely smaller than what I thought it was going to be, and the greenery wasnt kept up with— There were moths and mosquitoes in the house and the door was completely open when we arrived. REGARDLESS this was a great place to stay. Very quiet and comfortable. Allison and Dwayne were great at communicating and I would definitely stay with them again.

Cynthia and Danny were so sweet and accommodating. They left us eggs and butter and some various condiments, and the cottage had many thoughtful amenities. Her listing was correct in saying that, being in the country, the satellite internet is not always 100% reliable, and critters are ever-present, but we were prepared for these things since she told us about them. Best of all, we were able to bring our dog and she loved the company of Cynthia’s three farm dogs!

Very nice place about a half hour drive from downtown Gainesville. Quiet location on a small farm in the country. Lorrie was right next door and always available but turns out I didn’t need anything.

AMAZING. Great hosts, great place! I stayed here by myself and it was heaven on earth. I am a nature lover and this exceeded my expectations. The house & the property are stunning. The house is a lovely mix of tasteful tropical & Victorian decor. The outside is like being in the garden of Eden. So private & peaceful. I was able to meet manatees my first evening taking the kayak out; they were as interested in me as I was in them and came all around me and the baby came up to say hi. It was one of the most amazing experiences I’ve had. It was just me and the manatees not another human in sight. The next morning I paddled out again and saw otters playing. I saw turtles, lizards, many beautiful birds, including green heron, great blue heron, and an owl. Coffee in the morning on the patio & a fire at night under the canopy of trees. Close to so much to do- springs, beach, nature parks, but by far the best was being able to paddle pretty much out the back door. I’m so glad I stayed here!!!

Great stay and just a short walk to downtown Gainesville. Cute property and responsive host. Would stay again!

We had a wonderful stay with Walt and Cassandra. The house is very nice. The furniture and decor are very personalized and absolutely harmonious with the whole location The kitchen was excellently equipped - almost the best Airbnb we have ever had during all our travels. It was very easy to cook dinner. Another positive thing to mention is the bed - we slept very well on the mattress. About the area: The house is quiet and you can easily relax away from the hustle and bustle of a city. Super starry sky due to the low light pollution. There are chickens on the property, which provided us with fresh eggs every morning. There are also 2 cats living on the property. We can absolutely recommend the accommodation and would book it a second time.

Absolutely loved this stay! Even my husband said this Airbnb is perfect for us! The space has all my favorite things. Big cozy bed with lovely carved head board. You drive down this idyllic lane onto this horse farm with romantic views. A friendly white horse gallops to the fence to welcome us. I chose to open the window to hear the sounds of nature and gaze at the stars. In the morning you can hear a sweet rooster crowing. She has the wonderful bath salts and a big claw tooth Victorian bath tub. I’m a massage therapist taking care of everyone. But this Airbnb took great care of me with all the perfect things. Zum hand soap and small lovely soaps. Easy to access wifi. My favorite oats with my morning tea on the front porch. On our way out there was a Dunkin doughnuts to grab a matcha for the road. I had a wonderful night sleep and treasure the next opportunity I have to build up at Dianne’s place! Thanks for a great night sleep! Thanks for praying for us! You’re a jewel

Very peaceful, secluded and perfect for me and my partner to share a weekend together. We enjoyed Lala land so much, we didn’t want to leave and come back into the city. We will be back one day!

This is the perfect little cabin for you and your spouse to have the a fun and romantic get away! Extra plus if you have a boat there is very easy water access

we enjoyed Pamela's place, very cozy and private. Nice porch to sit on and read and relax. Downtown was very close by with lots of restaurants to choose from.

The place was an absolute dream! From the moment we stepped inside, we felt a sense of warmth and tranquility. The place was spotless and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay, from the cozy bed to the well-stocked kitchenette. The surrounding nature was breathtaking, and we enjoyed the peace and quiet. It truly felt like a hidden gem, perfect for a relaxing getaway!

The view was awesome and everything was just like the photos. Craig the next door neighbor was a pleasure to talk to as well.

Mrs. Glenda’s place felt like home the moment I arrived. Her energy was just as beautiful, warm, and inviting as the peaceful grounds I stayed on. She reminded me of family—the kind that makes you feel instantly welcomed and cared for. Though the space was small, it was cozy in all the right ways, with thoughtful touches that made it feel like home. And can we talk about the shower? Hands down, the best one I’ve ever had—something about that soft water felt like magic. I’ll definitely be back.

Highlight of the house was the yard for our dog - grassy & fenced which was awesome! House itself was well loved but comfortable. Beds may need new mattresses in the near future. Worked well for our 2 night stay.

We absolutely loved our stay at The Hooch house! 🐾🛶 Dean and Katie were stellar hosts, we couldn't have felt more at peace during our stay. Since already being familiar with the area...we were stoked to find a spot so close to Silver Springs, Barberville Art Imporium and "Odd Todd's" (great food if you're ever in the area!) This little private getaway was PERFECT for our needs. Great wifi signal....so the movies never buffered or paused midway through watching them....extremely clean and cozy....and plenty of space to move around. Being able to do laundry while traveling was a huge bonus A+++ We'd definitely book again. Thank you both for the incredible memories.

Everything about this stay was wonderful! Felt like a home away from home. We enjoyed watching the turtles and even a small alligator in the canal, and took advantage of using the firepit one evening. Will definitely book next time I’m in the area.

First time in the area and felt so welcomed. Perfect little cottage for my stay, easy to find and felt very cozy. The backyard area was spectacular. Well groomed lawns to lake front dock and relaxing fire pit. Had family around the corner on the lake that could easily come pick me up on the dock. Sunrises were unforgettable with the sounds of nature surrounding you. If you’re looking for a great all around place to stay that comes with a local vibe/experience book it now #YoullThankMeLater

Very cute and comfortable house. We enjoyed the farmers market and long bike ride along the Withlacoochee Stste trail nearby. Great restaurants downtown.

Such a great stay! The A frame has AC and electricity! So clean.

This place is definitely a hidden gem. An adorable and quaint place with a great restaurant on the property. We ate there every day. Drinks were good and the food was good but the bread pudding was over the top. Definitely a squeaky clean place and very comfortable.
