Fitness-friendly vacation rentals in Sugar Mountain

Cozy space , very close and convenient to outings. Luckily there wasn’t snow to drive up the mountain, it can get foggy tho but nothing that can’t be handled with safety. Definitely recommend :)

This was our fifth time staying at one of DJ’s properties. The cottage had everything we needed. It is a short drive to Blowing Rock and Boone and within walking distance of The Gamekeeper restaurant. We always enjoy our stay at Yonahlossee and can’t wait to go back!

Jim’s place was the perfect place to stay for a ski weekend at Beech Mountain. The condo was super cozy and comfortable for our family of 3. We also loved being so close to the pool area. Jim was super responsive when we checked in and had some last minute questions. We loved our stay!

Place was as described, great views! The employees of the building were very nice and helpful. The shuttle driver was great! She was very nice and told history of the condo, always quick to pick up drop off no issues there. The amenities were also very enjoyable, two hot tubs and two sauna/spa areas if you wanted privacy. Condo views were great and the place was very clean. Beds were comfortable. We are already thinking of doing this again next year, the skiing was very fun and we got a good snow 2-4inches one afternoon as well.

The place was amazing and comfy, my family loved the view from the apartment and we spent a great time in Grandfather Mountain! The host was very kind and really helpful. We’d love to rent this place again in the future — (10/10)

Great place to stay in a beautiful area.

Scott did a great job and the unit was well appointed. The balcony was a nice morning option and have stocked coffee and sugar is always appreciated. Pro Tip: The lift outside the balcony is the top of a blue run so plan to drop off beginner skiers at the lodge to warm up. There is nothing like taking the last lift of the day all the way up this ski in ski out condo.

Katie was friendly and professional throughout the process. The condo was awesome, we stepped out with our ski eqpt and started skiing right at the top of the Oma slope. Will definitely come back for a repeat visit!

Joey’s place is the perfect spot to walk out your door and ski down to the base of Sugar Mountain. Great view of the slopes and a quick 10 minute drive to Food Lion, restaurants and Sugar Mountain. It snowed while we were there, but the road crew kept the drive up the hill passable. The pool/hot tub/sauna was also a great spot to take a break and warm up. Just a 5 minute walk to those amenities. Quick note…if you ski down at night during the week, don’t miss the last lift ride back up before 10p! We found a cab to give us a ride as the bus shuttle was only running on weekends. Definitely a great spot for a quick trip to enjoy the mountain and parking is right outside the front door. Highly recommended if you are looking for a cozy place.

We really loved our stay! The house was clean and beautifully decorated. Great views of Hawksnest snow tubing (which was a fun activity). The house had everything we needed — comfortable beds, plenty of blankets, fireplace and fire pit, a stocked coffee bar, and plenty of parking. The kids loved the bunk room and game room. The balcony has a lot of comfortable seating as well. The hosts were incredibly gracious and kind, as well as available if we needed them. Thanks for the wonderful stay!!

We were so pleasantly surprised with how beautifully it was decorated for Christmas. We absolutely loved our stay here! We have kids with allergies and cooked very comfortably in the kitchen. I made homemade bread and our daily meals. This was a perfect place to spend quality time with our family. We will be coming back.

We booked this house last minute, on the drive up, after our previous booking was damaged in a storm. Check in was easy and the place was ready to go. The house itself was a lot of fun. We enjoyed the workout area, hot tub and tons of games as well as a 3 minute drive to the ski resort. It was everything we were looking for.

Our family loved staying at Jared’s home. Lovely space, quiet but easy to get to Boone and Blowing Rock. Plenty of room for a family of five and we will certainly try to stay here again next time we are in the area.

Great place to stay even in the winter ! Walk to the gym and clubhouse or take a short drive to the indoor pool. Great location for skiing or trails, or a quick trip to Blowing Rock.
