Kid-friendly vacation rentals in Suchitepéquez Department

This is by far the best Airbnb I have ever stayed at. I’ve traveled to a lot of Airbnb’s in many different countries and none compare to this. Finding this place is surely an adventure but once you are there, you don’t want to leave! I can’t say enough good things about the chefs that will cook you every meal. We had them do all the shopping for our meals along with other items we wanted such as water and beer. The housekeeper services that help coordinate private boat rides to other villages, keeping the place clean, or even small things such as turning on the hot tub while we are away are truly incredible perks of this place. The property and views are just amazing and I can’t wait to come back here for my next stay!

We always received support from Vladimir, the house is very nice and comfortable. Perfect for a trip to Mazatenango, close to downtown and with a magnificent view of the volcanoes.

Very good place from which to discover Santiago and all the surrounding areas. Also, great if you need a small break and want to disconnect. Thank you!

This place was absolutely beautiful. The ladies that came and cooked for us were amazing. Food was amazing and so worth hiring them to cook for us. There really isnt anywhere to get food from around the area. Josue went and purchased the groceries for us and made sure that we had everything we needed. I cant wait to book this place again.

We really liked Mary's place! the accommodation and the price are too good, and Mary was always very friendly, she showed up to welcome us and explain important things (house things, recommendations). Personally I thought that contact was nice. Cleaning 10/10, amenities 10/10, space 10/10. Everything was excellent. A place that is sure worth it and we look forward to returning soon.

It’s a good place. It’s very center little bit noisy because of the church in front other than that everything was great. I will stay there again.

A well-equipped, clean apartment just one block from the main square and a 5-10 minute walk to the main beach. Communication with the host was easy the entire time. San Lucas doesn't have much tourism, but that's what makes the experience more valuable. My family stayed for a week and enjoyed the rooftop with amazing volcano views.

If I could give this more than 5 stars I would! We had a lovely week at Bouga Village . Owner was very easy to get a hold of but we didn’t need much - everything was organized so well and was stocked with all the essentials. We loved our lazy days swimming ( also paddle) and enjoying the view and how close we were to all the towns when we wanted to explore. The views are out of this world and the privacy Bouge Village provides was wonderful. We’d love to come back again and would highly recommend this spot to anyone visiting Lago Atitlan!

I agree with all the previous reviews - can’t recommend Griselda and Antonio’s place high enough. San Pedro is loud ! And this is an oasis of calm yet walkable to the town and language school(s) we will defo be back.

Excellent host and facilities, it looks smaller in photos but has a good space, Sandy is very friendly and provides many personal cleaning products 💯 recommended is 3min from the Irtra It's very well equipped 💯🫶🏻

If you need a place to sleep at a good price because you're sightseeing, it's a very good option, it's a few steps from the Viewpoint and a spa. Walking at a leisurely pace, in 15 minutes you reach Calle de las Sombreros and Calle de las Sombrillas and of course the pier that allows you to connect with the villages of Lake Atitlán. Marisol's availability and kindness are exceptional.

Was a great launch pad for going to Irtra! Really enjoyed and was as advertised. It was great to have air conditioning and we were definitely enticed by the pool. The one comment I’ll add is if you’ve got babies, be sure to be careful- it’s a second floor apt and at least for our 2 year old it was fairly easy to open the windows.

Everything is clean, the house is very nice and the service is excellent. We only had a water leak in the kitchen but nothing that affected the stay. Apart from that, everything was totally fine.

I highly recommend this place if you’re looking for a more relaxed stay. The view of San Pedro from the balcony was absolutely beautiful! I ended up spending more time at the unit in the hammock for that reason. There is no A/C (as most accommodations in the area) but you can leave the windows open to cool down at night (I didn’t have any insect problems during my stay). The unit is situated between San Pedro and San Juan so you’ll have easy access to both areas via tuktuk. San Pedro is a loud nightlife area so bring ear plugs (also what other guests have mentioned in their reviews so I was aware when I had booked this). I’m not sure if there are any other spots that you could get the same view without the noise. The unit is outside of the main busy areas so there aren’t any restaurants nearby but it’s really easy to grab a tuktuk right out front for very little (10-15 GTQ). Clemente was also very kind and very responsive. As a solo female traveller, I felt very safe staying here.

Everything was excellent, very nice, spacious, tidy and clean. The view on the terrace was the best, seeing the sunset and sunrise was very beautiful... my family was delighted, I'll be back in the future.
