Monthly Rentals in Studley Roger

We had never visited Ripon before but this was a great place to stay: spacious , clean and convenient, with a view over the main market square,literally a few minutes walk from cafes, bars and restaurants (shout out to the lovely Claro's!). Thank you for a great little break

I needed time away to relax and distress. Jo’s place was perfect. Such a beautiful hideaway, tastefully decorated and well equipped. Jo was a friendly, responsive host and made sure I’d got everything I needed. Enjoyed sitting on the balcony watching the chickens do their thing in a beautifully tranquil setting. I’d love to return again, when those batteries need recharging again.

We absolutely loved staying in the cottage. It’s even lovelier than the photos show! The design and attention to detail in the decor really worked beautifully in this period place. It was warm and cosy and clutter-free. It’s a very homely place. There was everything we needed in the kitchen. The sun is on the front lawn in the afternoon and evening and it’s a great place to sit and listen to the curlews. The surrounding area is fabulous. Just a short walk across a field and you are in Fountains Abbey and Studley Royal grounds. Deer roaming and swimming in the lake there. Lots of footpaths to walk locally. Literally minutes from Ripon too with Booths & M&S food for provisions. Nidderdale is on the doorstep with lots of lovely villages and pubs. We were sad to leave this little gem of a place and will definitely return.

Lovely cottage for a weekend getaway for 2 couples. Easy access for good walks, and easy to nip into Ripon for food etc.
