King Ludwig's Old Neighbour

Welcome to the house of my childhood memories. It is located right below the castles of Neuschwanstein and Hohenschwangau, surrounded by lakes and mountains. Inspired by the contrast between heritage and sharing economies, the designer Michl Sommer and his team of featuring-amsterdam have created this microcosm inside the traditional neighbourhood of Hohenschwangau. The 180 sqm living area provides generous space, and the 1'400 sqm garden is large enough for football games.

Mein Haus befindet sich 3km oberhalb der Stadt Schwaz, 30km östlich von Innsbruck, der Landeshauptstadt von Tirol. Die Wohnung verfügt über zwei Schlafzimmer (ein Zimmer mit einem Doppelbett - Breite 1,55m - und ein weiteres Zimmer mit zwei Einzelbetten - Breite 90cm), einem kombinierten Küchen-, Ess- und Wohnzimmerbereich, Badezimmer mit Dusche, WC und Terrasse. In beiden Zimmern befinden sich ein Kleiderschrank und ein Schreibtisch mit Sessel.

Looking out of your chalet directly onto the slopes, you are already eager to finally grab your things to start the day. But you still want to enjoy breakfast in peace. After all, you still have the whole day ahead of you. In the evening, when the sun is resting behind the mountain peaks and the moonlight is spreading over Steinach, you can relax your muscles in the Finnish sauna of the chalet. The beautiful 1960s house is located in Igls, a cozy district of Innsbruck. It offers a unique view in all directions. The house can accommodate a large family (also with a dog), has an open fireplace, 3 terraces, 2 balconies and a spacious garden. It is lovingly decorated, even with a stair lift. In 15 minutes you can reach Innsbruck city center by car or bus and in a few minutes the Patscherkofel ski resort.

Dorfschmiede vacation home

The rustic village forge (cottage atmosphere) is a cozy cottage in the middle of Neustift. In the house there are 5 bedrooms (note: 1 room is a transit room) for up to 10 people. The house is therefore perfect for groups and families. Due to the central location, all important tourist facilities (restaurants, grocery store, swimming pool and sauna, bus stop, ski rental, etc.) are within a few minutes' walk.

My grandparents built and operated this house as a small guesthouse. Where there were once separate guest rooms, there is now a newly renovated, light-flooded 100 sqm 3-room attic apartment with mountain views, in which I now live. However, since I am on the road a lot myself, I have decided to continue the tradition of the house and occasionally welcome guests. Maybe you soon?
