A very nice house built 1980. It´s very spacious and has a good location right in the center of Balestrand. From the living room there´s a beautiful view to the mountains and the terrace is secluded and nice. 400 meters away there is a perfect sandy and children-friendly beach. Great hiking opportunities. Restaurants, grocery stores and cafées two minutes walk from house. Children friendly house. We have baby beds, strollers, chairs for children, some toys and toddler cutlery.

It's a great place for just relaxing, and enjoying the fabulous view, but also an excellent starting point for sightseeing, hiking, swimming or fishing in the fjord/river. Skiing and several other activities are easily available in the area, dependig on season. Excelent for couple and family(s) with kids. Perfect as a starting point for exploring everything Sunnmøre has to offer. Nice swimming opportunities, available SUP, rubber boat and lots of toys for children. We were lucky with a sunny and dry day to discover the area. However, the house itself is excellent to be able to entertain you inside, should the weather be bad. Everything you need is available. Julie and Torbjørn are super nice people. We had a nice chat with them.

The home is absolutely gorgeous. The surroundings are incomparable. The cottage is secluded from others but only a few kilometers from a small shop where everything you need is located. It has everything you could need. A perfect paradise to get close to nature. Hiking trails and activities are plentiful for those who like it. For those who just want to take it easy, it's just as perfect. 10/10. Roger always responded super fast and extremely generous. All in all, it was a great experience. Highly recommend renting the cabin!

We lived in this house for almost five months as visiting scientists to NTNU Ålesund with our son who went to the Ålesund International School. Both locations could be reached easily, Aalesund Sentrum can be reached quicklyand Moa offers everything needed. The well-equiped house suited us perfectly with ample of space and convenient furniture. Åshild could always be reached easily and was always kind and helpful. We had a wonderful and exciting time during our stay. We are very grateful for being able to live in this house during our time in Ålesund.

We rented this house for New Year's, and it was a wonderful experience. The house was warm and cozy, and it felt just like home. The owner had decorated it beautifully for the holiday. The view from the windows was breathtaking, creating the perfect atmosphere. We would rent this house again and highly recommend it to others.

Sverre is a lovely host who allows you to do your own thing while you are there, but who is happy to have a nice chat if you meet him out on the farmyard. He baked us fresh and delicious bread while we were there and the place delivered to all expectations. I think no one would be disappointed to book this one here. Very recommended
