Beautiful surroundings, Katherine was a fantastic host and was very welcoming. Lots of extra touches in the hut such as breakfast and milk. A 30 minute walk to the heart of Oxford along a scenic canal, stunning views, wildlife all around and easy to walk. Katherine kindly allowed us to park before check in time. We visited the Perch pub which is a 10 minute walk and the food was delicious. Highly recommend this accommodation. We stayed two nights and loved it! Book now you won’t be disappointed! If you are looking for someone to escape to with the peace and tranquility of the countrywide with just a sprinkling of natural farm noise - this is the place to be. We had a really relaxing few days here and Rosalind was very helpful and in hand if you need anything. We always had a friendly greeting from the 3 dogs who would be delighted with a belly scratch. Loved it here.

5 stars all round. Highly recommended. This was a great place to stay. An easy walk from the train station (<10 min). In the centre of Charlbury, only minutes from nice pubs, restaurants and the local co-op, but still very peaceful and quiet. In a lovely garden with own outside deck and table. Bright and airy. Spacious enough for two. Good shower. Comfortable king bed with crisp linen. Cozy and comfortable sitting room. Charlbury is a beautiful town with easy train and bus links to London, Oxford, Woodstock (Blenheim), etc. And gorgeous surrounding countryside with great walks. Martin and Helena were generous friendly hosts. We really appreciated a late check out so that we could enjoy a leisurely countryside walk on our last morning. Many thanks!

The perfect escape! Farahnaz and Paul are really helpful, very friendly and knowledgeable of the area. The Summerhouse is so secluded and cosy. it really is a proper escape from the "Busy Life" Shakurs on the corner is a great place to eat if you get the chance. Thanks again Farahnaz & Paul, We will be back.

Highly recommend this beautiful shepherds hut. Lovely private setting and the host was fabulous and very accommodating. Nothing was too much trouble, gave some great recommendations for local pubs and restaurants (definitely worth a visit), also checked in to see if we needed anything which was a lovely touch, along with the goodie basket which was a lovely surprise. Thank you very much for having us, we would definitely return to this beautiful spot.

Great host and wonderful place to stay. Had a really relaxing time and loved the fire pit and wood-fired hot tub. Would definitely stay again.

Overall, accommodation was great and everything went well. Things that I would like to point out. List of amenities these things are not correct. 1. Carbon monoxide alarm for the fireplace. The bedroom is not operational which is a hazard. 2. Coffee machine was not there. We asked and we were kindly given a jar instant coffee. 3. Outdoor to dining area doesn't exist. there is ourdoor furniture but not a dining area. 4. Outdoor kitchen doesn't exist either. They are correct, there is a BBQ as mentioned on the amenities , but that is not a outdoor kitchen. 5. I understand there is no Wi-Fi available. Which would I was okay with as I have 50GB of data. What I was not aware is that the location is in a virtually a signal dead zone there was one spot that we had to go to , if we wanted to receive our Whats-App messages. I would see this as an important thing to mention to people. Lastly , we had the lovely couple who lived at the corner who were available when we needed to ask questions.

Stayed here for my partners 30th and Donna could not have been more helpful!! She organised balloons and my partners favourite beers on ice ready for our stay. On our way Donna rang us to make sure we were okay and described where we need to find her. On arrival, we were greeted with a hug and a loving atmosphere! The lodge it self was so peaceful. It was great that Donna allowed us to stay out for as long as we wanted in Donna’s words “party all night for me” where as anywhere else you’re only allowed to use the hot tub for a certain amount of time! The lodge had everything we needed and more!! You can tell Donna put some much pride and joy into what she does and we will 100% be returning in the near future! Thank you so much for the amazing couple days break that we needed from reality!

Amazing stay! Such a lovely little shepherds hut which was well equipped and perfect for us. Breakfast provided was a bonus and felt so welcome by Rosalind and family. We would definitely return if we were in the area!

Our second visit was just as good as the first. No complaints! If you’re looking for a relaxing atmosphere, this is the place to go. Thom was great as always.

Wonderful Pod, lovely place to have your own BBQ and campfire. Highly recommended!

Me and my partner stayed here for a few nights and had the best little break away! Private with beautiful views and very peaceful. The bathroom/ kitchen were pristine and fully functioning. Comfy bed, lots of room. And the hot tub of course was a lovely addition that was well kept. We will definitely be back :)

Just got back from an amazing few days at Beth’s chalet We had amazing time , the chalet is in a beautiful spot, so peaceful and relaxing , we all enjoyed the hot tub very much. Great location , a 20 minute drive into Malvern , where there are some amazing walks . Thank you so much for being amazing host. We will def be returning .

Really nice stay here. Some of the amenities were missing but Laura was very responsive, instantly replied and stocked us up. Really nice to escape the city so would definitely recommend!

5-Star Stay – A Hidden Gem in the Woods! We had the most magical night away in the woods – it was everything we hoped for and more. The setup was perfect: a super cosy bed, clean shower and toilet, a firepit with all the cooking essentials ready to go, and the absolute highlight – the hot tub! The peaceful sounds of nature and the birds made it incredibly relaxing. It felt like the perfect balance between being close to nature and having all the comforts you need. The space is so thoughtfully set out – we literally gasped when we saw it! The hosts were amazing – so helpful both during the booking process and throughout our stay. It’s clear they’ve put a lot of love into this place. Also, it’s in a great location, close to some fantastic pubs and places to eat. Couldn’t recommend it more – definitely a 5-star experience. We’ll be back!

We had a great time at The Sheep Shed. The views surrounding the hut are beautiful, and you can see them all from an extremely comfortable bed. Lots to do exploring Bicester, Oxford and local village pubs! Highly recommend :)

We booked this for a weekend away and it did not disappoint! Absolutely pristine on arrival and furnished will all the niceties that made it feel that bit more homely. Really lovely bathroom, and well thought out design. Would absolutely recommend to anyone deciding! Not to mention the wonderful hot-tub!

Had an amazing stay at this cabin, it was so cosy and a perfect size. The bed was insanely comfortable and me and my partner loved every minute there and would definitely return.

lovely tranquil place overlooking a nice lake. looks like eventually it will be surrounded similar pods and huts.

Great location for those with dogs wanting some space away from the cities. The other cabins had their own dogs but kept very much to themselves and gave us plenty of space and never felt too close at all. Still very much our own space and we loved it. Lots of great areas to visit around the Cotswolds. A true 5 stars.

For us gaining some quality family time without the trappings of day to day life this was perfect! All Richards thoughts and gestures in the fisherman's hut were well thought out and made us smile. Highly recommend
