Vacation rentals with a fire pit in Strand

Very tastefully furnished holiday home, quietly located in the back with sheep and horses as neighbors and views of the surrounding fields and forest. Nice garden with BBQ and hot tub. We had some bad luck with the weather, but for outdoor people there is more than enough to see and do in the area (hiking, cycling, water sports, ...). A 15-minute drive from Nijmegen.

We had an amazing easter vacation at this incredible place! Herman was friendly, always courteous and super helpful with our questions and requests. He even made sure the beer pump that wasn’t working was replaced (at 10pm!) thank you a lot again, you saved our evening. ☺️ All in all a beautiful trip we’d love to repeat and our group of four approves. We stayed at Tom and Brigitte’s cottage in Lanaken for over three months, and it was an absolutely lovely experience. From day one, they were incredibly accommodating and responsive. They were always quick to help with anything we needed. Even for the smallest issues, they took the time to visit the property just to ensure we were comfortable and enjoying our stay. Their warmth and care truly made a difference. The cottage itself had such a homey and cozy feel. It very quickly felt like our own little retreat. The holiday park is also a beautiful place to be; we really enjoyed the peaceful walks and scenic bike rides through the area. If this was our experience over a long-term stay, I can only imagine how pleasant and smooth a short stay would be! We wholeheartedly recommend this place for both short and long visits, and we hope to return in the future.

Everything was clean, as advertised and most of all beautiful! The Location was calm and perfect for us. We’re very happy to have stayed here!

We thoroughly enjoyed the charm, the tranquility of Tholen and the beautiful apartment. Bakery, supermarket, nice shops, cozy bistros, restaurants within walking, cycling distance. Cozy villages with a lot of attention to flowers and plants, beautiful cities, nature nearby, a beautiful wellness in Roosendaal at a 20' drive, ... in short, a lot to do in different types of weather. We found a lot of useful information about the area in the apartment, even cycling maps, hiking maps, so we could immediately get on our way with the fiestas. The apartment is beautifully furnished, sparkling clean, everything you need (also coffee, wonderfully fragrant shower products, ...) , nice terrace overlooking the garden. Communication was smooth and friendly. In short, recommended.

We had a great three night stay at Sylvia’s & Eric’s, easy walk to metro line to get into Delft, Rotterdam or The Hague. Grocery store a few blocks w/ATM so got some Euros using our MC Debit Card. Kitchen had microwave, oven and two burner hotplate. Bed was comfy, we are two bigger guys and had no problem with space. Shower was great, plenty of hot water & pressure & towels. Could use a new pan or two but Sylvia let us borrow one. W&D used for three loads (10 euros), was in their home so had limits in terms of use, but generous w/availability. Drip coffee maker & small French press, offered free coffee which was nice. No paper products like napkins / paper towels, and needs more than just salad forks to use. Body wash & shamp yes, needs conditioner as well. Patio area nice, table & chairs in their back garden area, free parking on site, nice n’hood. Cold floor, (slab) apt below home w/ good lighting. Wash cloths, foil needed. Overall very pleased highly recommend, nice & quiet

We enjoyed staying here with pleasure. Convenient to get in at the front door using a code. Friendly operators. The spaces were large and everything was present. We sat quietly and felt comfortable.

Great place, very close to the city, museums etc yet very private and in deep nature . We really enjoyed our time and would recommend the place for everyone seeking privacy, calmness, nature and a bit of adventure.

Great nice place to spend a sunny weekend with friends. The cabins are nicely remote and the short walk to it immediately makes you cheerful. Getting used to when you're not used to living basic earlier, but the place is so well equipped, so clean and so comfortable that it's really worth it! Jaak is a great host, always available and gave us an extra battery to temporarily insert phones and frigoboxes:). There was an underground cooling room to keep groceries cold, but extra bags of ice cream are definitely recommended in warm weather to keep everything fresh.

We stayed at Advas house with our dog for three nights and really enjoyed our stay. The host was leaving some treats for us and even for Lumi (our dog) and also suggested nice restaurants and possible walks with gpx files in the area. The place was just as presented on Air BnB, really clean and nicely decorated. Unfortunately we didn’t have the time to really enjoy the garden but I’m sure it would be great to enjoy a nice little fire outside :) would be nice to come back in summertime!

Don't hesitate: book!

The place is really great. Surrounded by greenery. From every window you will see flowers trees and birds. Martijn and Stefan's house is nearby, but you still have privacy. Due to the high ceiling, the cottage gives a spacious feeling much more than you would think in the pictures. The sauna was a godsend for a rainy day. The stove in the living room is easy to get on and there is plenty of wood. On top of the loft two single beds together, a little less cozy but good mattresses. Hiking trails from the house or a small piece of cycling in short, all in all very pleasant and recommended!

Our stay with Jan was perfect for a quick getaway. The little cottage offered a lot of privacy and was equipped with everything you need. Particularly cozy was the small wood-burning stove, which created a warm and relaxed atmosphere. The surroundings were quiet, ideal for unwinding and relaxing. Jan was a great host – friendly, helpful and responsive. We enjoyed the days here and can absolutely recommend the stay. We will be happy to come back! Highly recommend

A unique place to stay in an idyllic place! With our family with three small children, we had a great week in the holiday home of Evelien and Marnix. The house is very cozy, authentic and houses all kinds of treasures for the little ones, such as a craft corner, boxes of toys and not to mention the crazy outdoor games (archery, all kinds of racket games, a giant 4-on-one row, etc.) Not everyday and therefore so much fun. Enjoyed bike rides and walks, especially with Natuurplaats Noordsche Veld as a starting point. Nothing is missing in the house and therefore: really vacation! See you soon!
