Vacation rentals with a fireplace in Strand

Very tastefully furnished holiday home, quietly located in the back with sheep and horses as neighbors and views of the surrounding fields and forest. Nice garden with BBQ and hot tub. We had some bad luck with the weather, but for outdoor people there is more than enough to see and do in the area (hiking, cycling, water sports, ...). A 15-minute drive from Nijmegen.

We had an amazing easter vacation at this incredible place! Herman was friendly, always courteous and super helpful with our questions and requests. He even made sure the beer pump that wasn’t working was replaced (at 10pm!) thank you a lot again, you saved our evening. ☺️ All in all a beautiful trip we’d love to repeat and our group of four approves. What a lovely place in an oasis of peace. We were with 4 friends in the beautiful stay of Aljanneke. An oasis of peace and nature and a beautiful house with all modern amenities and comfort. Aljanneke is a super host! Nice communication and full of good tips, someone who fully understands hospitality. We would definitely come back!

Perfectly spacious house with beautiful garden in a beautiful location. Everything is present and Stan and Nicole we also do everything we can to make you feel at home. In low and for season a beautiful and quiet place on the island. Everything within walking distance ... Recommended!

Upon arrival we could easily get in and everything looked nice and tidy. Very nice quiet area with goats in the garden was very nice. It was a 10-minute drive to an Albert Heijn so that was great. I especially liked the kitchen myself! I do recommend bringing your own (sharp) knives if you are going to cook. We were quickly helped when the salt washed up so the service from Nilo was also great. Had a very nice day and night, recommended!

Very nice location for our family weekend with 5 adults and 2 small children! Very much space in the beautiful house, also quiet sitting possible outside the house, everything present and very friendly reception! Top location in the middle of the fortress of Woudrichem, with a very nice area and lots to do!

We had a great stay at Sylvia's place. The house itself is huge fun: it is enormous, with a fantastic open-plan aspect, a very well-equipped kitchen, a huge master bedroom, a luxurious jacuzzi and a great outdoor pool which the kids loved. Sylvia and Peter were perfect hosts: they were communicative from the outset, and responded very quickly to our messages. In short, we can't recommend this place enough!

We found our way around right away. Sandra herself contacted us directly with questions and gave us tips for our stay. She is a great hostess and brought us a sugar loaf and fresh eggs. We had a great time. The pool is quite large and we found space there for 5 adults. The sauna can accommodate about 3-4 people. We are very satisfied and can recommend the accommodation.

Dirk and Wilma were lovely hosts - from booking to departure they were friendly, responsive and helpful. We enjoyed our stay very much and plan to return again! Many thanks!

The apartment was perfect. It’s a great location - everywhere is walkable but the apartment itself was peaceful. Everyone around was friendly, being able to leave luggage after check out was really useful. We would definitely stay here again, and definitely recommend it.

It took a rib from our body this stay, but we got a lot in return. A rooftop terrace for the hot days and two heaters for the cold. We understand that the owner also regularly uses the place himself and that is noticeable. In terms of cooking utensils, bed linen, blankets for the sofa... everything is correct. The apartment actually feels like a home away from home and in that regard we would definitely love to come back!

Following a warm and efficient welcome from Tille and her son, I stayed in a charming apartment, which provided the ideal spot to relax after wandering around the city. Watering the plants felt less like a task and more like a small contribution to the cosy, homely atmosphere already there. Thank you for this wonderful stay.

Anna and John , out hosts were wonderful. Place was so well designed and so beautiful. I could tell a lot of thought was put into the design. I think the place would be even better with a notebook with instructions about house, tv, appliances , and check out procedure . On the other hand, Anna and John were so responsive. Anna and John met us at the apartment , plane was delayed so arrived late around 9:30. Anna and John were flexible and gave us a warm welcome with tour of house. However in the morning, I discovered scaffolding with green mesh across windows. I paid top dollar for a canal house with view of canal. This was a disappointment and was not told about this. I would never have rented if I knew there was barely a view through the windows with scaffolding and mesh . Everything else was wonderful! Future renters should ask about the obstructed view.

Great stay at Xander's! Very cozy apartment, it feels very good and the location is perfect! We loved the neighborhood! The amenities are very comfortable and Xander even offered to keep our bags on the last day so we could enjoy the last few hours more freely! We had a very nice weekend at Thomas's house. It was exactly as he had described on Airbnb's site. It was a beautiful house with a beautiful garden. The house was very cozily furnished, also nice with a fireplace in it. It has a nice sauna and swimming pool. The bedrooms had wonderful beds. Everything was very neat and well taken care of. The communication with Thomas was very pleasant. You could always reach him if you had any questions. Very nice. Thank you Thomas for a pleasant stay in Schwalmtal. We had a wonderful weekend with the family!

Perfect accommodation: excellent location to visit Bruges, Gant and the beaches of the North Sea. The accommodation is very well equipped, spacious and very clean. It feels like home. Communication with Joeri is excellent, very good hospitality. I recommend it ++++

The place was just fantastic. Quiet location near Amsterdam. Great amenities. Sauna and hot tub included. Also a huge grill that worked great. Suitable for a relaxing weekend with family and friends. And a trip to Amsterdam is also included. The hosts were very friendly, always responded quickly and were also flexible with the arrival and departure times. There was everything you needed. Highly recommend.

A stay with a flexible arrival time. Upon reception, 1 of us was shown around the house and we were given clear instructions. Furthermore, there were also the necessary papers with instructions. As a surprise, we also received a "welcome gift", which certainly tasted good. That was a nice attention. Otherwise, communication went extremely smoothly, everything was well followed up and we also received many tips before or after the stay. The equipment of the house was excellent. Of everything was more than sufficiently available, and a lot of comfort. In short, pleasant host, pleasant stay, great!

Lovely location; the owner’s family live next door and are very welcoming and friendly! Wander Island is a really good restaurant. Lake is wonderful. Only 30 mins from Amsterdam by Park and Ride.

Peter is a super nice host, his house is beautifully decorated and very clean. Everything was as described, and the reception on arrival was great. We would always book again.
