Monthly Rentals in Storøya

We booked this place in the last minute and so lucky it was available. Amazing isolated space on the country side. Great overnight stop or for couple of days to spend peaceful time. Hosts are responsive and very helpful!

Cosy apartment. Good and cool as the apartment is located in the basement. In addition, a well-functioning heat pump if you needed heat. Short walk to bus stop, bus to Oslo (1 hour) or Hønefoss. Very good and quick communication with the landlord. Good bed. Good storage space. We would gladly came back.

We came to Norway to visit for a month. We were excited, but that pales in comparison to the experience we had with Richard. We didn’t know what we were in for! We stayed in his beautiful family home, with a magnificent garden and spectacular views. Richard’s house that his Dad built is sparkling clean and well cared for. The area is ideal. Richard took us on an unforgettable hike to the summit of the mountain. He kindly fielded the questions we peppered him with. At the summit of the mountain we had a delicious local meal grilled in the open air kettle with coffee made with water straight from the lake.
