Lovely house on the water

In July & August, per week! Our unique house is on a headland with water on 2 sides. Centrally located between Amsterdam and Utrecht. Nearby are marinas and recreational homes. From the road, you walk to the ferry, with which you sail to the cottage yourself. The house is only accessible by raft/boat. The house has a garden, wooden scaffolding and seats. Inside, the house is equipped with all comforts: there is floor heating, air conditioning and WiFi. Upstairs are 2 bedrooms, 2nd toilet and bathroom.

Tiny House in Abcoude, nearby Amsterdam.

Welcome to our "Tiny House" Buitenpost in Abcoude. The cozy cottage is located in a unique Dutch landscape, close to Amsterdam. Nature lovers can enjoy to their heart's content with us. Mondriaan painted a great deal in this area. Our guesthouse for two people is located behind the old Tolhuis on Velterslaantje. It is an independent cottage with simple kitchen, living room and bathroom with rain shower. The cottage has underfloor heating. A wooden staircase leads to the sleeping floor.

In the garden, you can relax in a hammock, jump on a trampoline, go canoeing, paddle boarding and swimming from your own jetty. Nearby you can continue hiking and cycling to the nearby village of Breukelen and/or hiking along the Vecht. From Breukelen station, you can reach the city center of Amsterdam or Utrecht by train in 25 minutes.

Eilandseind, translated as islands end, is an island with a beautiful round wooden cabin on it! ...well, it's the last stretch of a kilometer long peninsula in midst of nature. Only reachable by (electric) boat, which is provided. Pure freedom, tranquility, romance in the dutch wilderness. A good reason why dutchies like to have staycations. A hidden outside space with a generous inside to celebrate nature and each other.

Keep it simple at this peaceful and centrally-located place. Nature nearby for walking, cycling, swimming. But also Amsterdam, Utrecht and Hilversum are close by. If you want to exercise, you can do that too! You can, if you want, use our cross fit box/fitness room. If you come with your family, games and crafts are available. Stay in the former eighteenth-century summer house of the Bouwerij on the Ridderhofstad Gunterstein estate on the Vecht in Breukelen.
