The villa itself was stunning, with breathtaking beach views that were perfect for relaxing and unwinding. Our family had an amazing time, enjoying the serene atmosphere and the convenience of being so close to the beach. It was the perfect getaway for us to recharge and have fun together. Beautiful spot. Ocean one side, mountains the other. The mountains were a lot closer than I was expecting and were so beautiful. The nearby lake is also walking distance and the kids loved it and it was great for training in. The house was lovely - lots of space and felt very open. The blinds are fantastic for helping to sleep in. The washing machine is a great addition. Dawie was climbing Kilimanjaro, but made sure we had an alternative contact but he even kept in touch from the mountain - he is a great host. We loved the homely feel and the family history evident in the home. Thank you for a wonderful stay.

The accommodation was nice and cozy. Everything was spotless and neat. Rosemarie was very friendly and helpful. We really enjoyed the peaceful surroundings and beautiful scenery.

We had a fantastic family stay at Carol's beautiful beach home. It was spotless. The house has everything you need for a comfortable stay, and we felt at ease and relaxed from the minute we walked in. Nice courtyard at the back to entertain and keep out of the wind on some of the days. Otherwise, a lovely braai spot in from of the house on the verande with ocean views. Morning coffee on the veranda every day, with a view of the ocean, was a treat. Just a short walk down the path to the harbour with restaurants and little shops as well as soft serve ice cream. A brisk 2km walk down to the main beach all along the coastline making. Carol was super friendly, and her home is truly a gem.

Lovely outdoor experiences from vegetable garden, through the VinYard’s, up to the dam, table Mountain View while chilling at the dam platform! The game animals were a bonus… lots of space to roam and lots of space in the house for 2 couples! Kitchen was well set up and we enjoyed dinners at home! Perfect for a 5 night stay. We also enjoyed the wine tasting at Remhoogte. Highly recommend for a Vinyard stay.

I had a wonderful relaxing three months stay with Cornel and Diane, both hosts were very helpful and nothing was too much trouble, initially problems with the DSTV which took time to correct, however Cornel was very pro active in getting it sorted. The apartment is vey spacious with a huge patio and the views are truly amazing, a good range of shops and take aways very close, I would strongly suggest having transport as to get to the apartment there is a very steep hill. Cornel and Diane are great hosts, who will be as helpful as you require, and are readily on hand to sort any possible issues. I fully recommend staying with Cornel and Diane.

Susanne’s place exceeded our expectations. Spectacular house, spectacular views and we had a wonderful time.

This was my second time staying with Marlise. Like before, everything was great. Two things stand out above the rest. First, the setting is one of the most thoughtful and beautiful that you will ever find. I could spend a month just relaxing near the pond and the garden. Second, when traveling, it’s always nice to be greeted by a ln enthusiastic and friendly host. Marlise, David, and their team do everything they can to make you feel welcome and to let the stress of travel melt away as soon as you arrive. Bravo! I hope to return.

This was deep exhale from the rush of everyday life. We spent slow mornings listening to the ocean and quiet evenings watching the sun set over False Bay. Janine's place is stunning. All you could ask for with a nice clean room, lovely kitchenette and stunning bathroom / shower. Location is world class with a few over the golf course! Close to lovely restaurants and the sea! Thanks Janine for a world class experience.

A Wonderful Stay That Felt Like Home Most often when you book via Airbnb, the actual place can differ from what’s shown in the pictures. That wasn’t the case here. I came with my family, and we instantly felt at home—the kids absolutely loved it! The view from the apartment is stunning. You can clearly see Table Mountain, the port side, the canal, and the overall beautiful surroundings. If we get a chance to come back, we will definitely book this apartment again. Thank you for hosting us and making our stay so memorable!

Our stay was fantastic! The location is excellent—just a 10-minute walk to the V&A Waterfront, the stunning Silo Hotel, and the incredible Zeitz MOCAA museum. You can take a scenic and safe walk along the canal behind the building, though the path closes at 8 PM, after which an Uber is necessary. Fortunately, Uber is both affordable and reliable, costing around 60-70 ZAR from the V&A to the Airbnb. The unit itself is beautifully designed, impeccably clean, and highly secure. However, there were a couple of drawbacks during our stay. Unfortunately, the washing machine was out of order, which was a key amenity we were looking for. While Rest Easy provided a laundry service as an alternative, not having access to in-unit laundry was disappointing. Additionally, the mattress was extremely firm—something to consider if you prefer softer beds or have back issues. That said, Rest Easy was wonderful to deal with—responsive, accommodating, and professional. They even held our luggage for a few

Perfect apartment, with a perfect location everything you needed or could think of needing was there

The difference between owning a second home and renting it out without any idea of what it means to truly host people, and doing it as a profession, is clear. I’ve read that Malinda has 30 years of experience in hospitality, and you can see it in the attention to detail. The apartment is spotless, well-maintained, and located in a quiet and safe area. If you have any doubts, this review is here to dispel them all—go for it! It’s a pity we stayed only one night! We hope to return!

Gull's nest is a lovely spot. Bass lake is an amazing place for a swim with lovely views and an expanse of open water. Unexpected and a definite favorite from our visit.

A Perfect Getaway in Stellenbosch We had the most wonderful stay at Mariska’s place in Stellenbosch. From start to finish, it was a truly peaceful and perfect experience. The setting is absolutely magical — waking up to a breathtaking view of Table Mountain felt like a dream. Mariska was a warm and thoughtful host, and everything was just as described (if not better!). The space was beautifully maintained and had everything we needed for a relaxing break. It felt like a slice of paradise tucked away in the winelands. Highly recommend this spot to anyone looking to unwind and soak up the beauty of the area. We’ll definitely be back!

Franschhoek Farm Cottage was heaven on earth. Perfect place to chill and great location for visiting the wine estates around. The attention to details will make you feel right at home. The view point it’s must to visit! I will definitely recommend. Thanks again for everything.

What a wonderful place to stay! Kevin and Max (his doggo) were amazing hosts. There is a dam a short walk over the road- what a serene swim! Beautiful surrounding mountains and scenery- it really is spectacular. Kevin's brother also supplied us with a delicious ciabatta loaf on arrival- thank you! We would highly recommend stopping here en route to CT or elsewhere, or even just a get away for a few days.

This place is simply sublime. I wish I owned it. To say that it's well equipped is an understatement, it has all the things one needs e.g. including a egg poacher pan. The surroundings are so beautiful and we were lucky to see the pear trees were in bloom. The only criticism is that the farm activity (tractor) was going on until about 9 pm on the Friday, but it was peacful the rest of the weekend.

We really enjoyed staying at Lisa’s cottage. It is very spacious and homely. It is secluded and peaceful, but the lovely Postcards cafe is a short stroll away. Postcards cafe serves lovely food in a stunning setting. The Cottage is a short drive away from walking in the mountains, but also a short drive to the many wonderful wine estates that the Winelands have to offer. Lisa responded very quickly to messages.
