Vacation rentals with a fireplace in Steinhuder Meer

We were warmly welcomed by Andrea personally and she showed us around. The house is nicely and comfortably furnished and has two absolute highlights with the barrel sauna and the massage chair. In cooler weather, you should plan enough wood (note extra costs) to heat with the fireplace. That's the only way to get the house nice and warm. No problem for us. Slippers or thick socks are still recommended. The hiking trails in the area are great and we enjoyed the time overall very much! Many thanks and best regards from Josefin and her dog Rubi :)

Such a lovingly, detailed and beautifully furnished apartment or house on a large garden plot. 10 min walk to the sea. There is a promenade on the north shore. We were very satisfied!! Thank you

Such a cool space! Perfect combo of historic and modern. The kids loved the loft bedroom. We took a train to Hameln and grabbed a taxi to the house (only $10 euros). Once there, we walked everywhere. You’re a few blocks from the Main Street and square. House was clean and beds comfortable. My only regret is we didn’t stay an hour extra day to relax in the garden/patio.

Very nice, tasteful and thoughtful decor. High-quality and lavishly equipped kitchen. The house offers a lot of space and at the same time privacy with the spacious all-round garden. Beautiful open architecture with lots of floor-to-ceiling windows facing the garden. We felt very comfortable.

I can only say great things about our stay here! The house had all the needed amenities and we felt like home. Don’t miss out the opportunity to walk in the nearby park that is so peaceful. :)

We stayed a few days in this beautiful house. It was all very neat and clean. We felt right at home. The kitchen was well stocked and had everything you need, including coffee and tea. In addition, the accommodation is very child-friendly. Beautiful books were provided for both children, there were also a few toys and for our toddler there was a high chair and a crib. I was also kindly able to borrow a bike. :) Thank you for the wonderful stay! We will definitely come back! :)

Host was very supportive with friendly nature. Outskirt property location is perfect suit for weekend holidays for family. Metro station, City bus stop & super market are walkable distance away. We had pleasant stay of 9 days and always available on phone for any help & information

We had a nice Easter with the family and felt very comfortable in this home. The kitchen is well equipped and the hospitality is noticeable, even though we could not meet each other personally. This private feeling plus being welcome is great.

We had a wonderful stopover in Hannover and a major contributing reason to that was Jen’s apartment. Having a little baby and two small children, the elevator up to the flat was very convenient. The flat was large with many bedrooms. It was very clean and the location was absolutely perfect for us. Thank you Jens!

Kai is cordial and replies quickly. It was easy to contact with him and get into. The house is equipped and very clean. I was able to find all the things I need for staying. Also the location was perfect for taking the public transport. Just 2-3 minutes on foot. The closest grocery store is located in just few blocks away. Overall I highly recommend Kai’s place when you’re seeking a place like your home to stay in Hannover. Thank you!!

It was a great stay with very friendly hosts! You immediately felt at home. For a family with kids, a perfect place to relax in a great environment. The two dogs are very trusting and were the highlight for our children. Rainer and his family were very welcoming and treated us like friends, which was a great addition for us. The apartment was much more spacious than we had imagined and is very comfortably furnished. The outdoor area is also designed with a lot of love for details. We will definitely visit again!

We were delighted with this cozy, unique apartment, which is embedded in a fantastic landscape. If you are looking for peace and great nature, this is the place to be. We really enjoyed it! The kids were happy with the animals in the area :) In general, the apartment is super equipped. Even spices, oils, toilet paper, paper towels, detergent, and soap were not missing. In addition, towels and bed linen are sufficiently provided. We felt comfortable and would be happy to come back 😊
