Check-in was straightforward and all the important information was super prepared. The highlight is the view over the water and the terrace, from which you can directly access the lake via a ladder. We were already there for the second time and would be happy to come back.

The Blue House is really something very special. Mieke and Arnold have decorated it very nicely and it is perfectly equipped! I immediately felt very comfortable and thoroughly enjoyed my stay! If I ever come back to Giethoorn, I will definitely want to stay here again 🥰

A super nice cottage that is attached to that of the hosts. Nice and quick contact with Lind and Victor. We found the place to look bigger in person than in the photos. She added the coffee and everything looked neat! Recommended!

Very specious two bedroom house with large kichen and bathroom. Everything you migh need during your stay is probably already there. Private parking lot and nice back garden are a plus. Annie was super polite and responsive. Home made jam was delicious. If we visit the same reagon again, we will definatelly come back.

I had a great time in this perfectly equipped, comfortable studio located in a peaceful area. Access is easy, and the host was very responsive and professional, responding quickly to any questions I had. The location is ideal, only 30 minutes drive from Giethoorn, the "Venice of the North". I highly recommend this place to those looking for tranquility, comfort, and proximity to remarkable sights.

Jacques's place was simply amazing! Cannot recommend enough. He was very friendly and made the check-in easy and flexible. The house is big (enough space for 4, although we were a couple), very well equiped and Jacques is very proactive in recommending anything you need in the area and pointing you in the right direction (we needed a supermarket). The place is very quiet, green and serene so if you are looking for some nature ans relaxation is the perfect spot. And a very nice detail that impressed us was that in the house a cold bottle of water and a small prosseco was waiting for us. It was quite a warm day so we really appreciated the considerate gesture.

The accomodation was super nice! If you are looking for a private, peaceful and an 'escape from the city' kind of places, Dieter's place is the right one for you. I would highly recommend it.

Our stay in Giethoorn was absolutely perfect! The little inn we chose was cozy, spotless, and everything we could have hoped for. The location was right on the canal, making it incredibly easy to take the boat out and explore the serene waterways. While the area is quieter in winter, that only added to the charm, creating a peaceful and intimate atmosphere. The highlight of our stay was the incredible hospitality. Our host went above and beyond, preparing delicious and varied home-cooked breakfasts each morning. Every detail was thoughtfully considered, from the clean and well-equipped kitchen (where my girlfriend and I enjoyed cooking dinner each night) to the excellent water pressure and warmth of the shower—something you truly appreciate during colder months. This was more than just a stay; it was an experience. The warmth, cleanliness, and attention to detail made it feel like a home away from home. We can’t recommend this place enough and look forward to our return!
