(North) The boats can be rented from the neighbors and the beautiful bridges can be found only a 6-minute walk away. This is where Giethoorn originated, and the oldest houses along the path are located here. No crowds of tourists. (They’re in Giethoorn Zuid.) Here, you can still enjoy the wonderful tranquility and the beauty of the old village of Giethoorn. Unfortunately not suitable for infants/children from 0 to 8.

Whether you are coming for a short hiking stopover or a longer stay, you are more than welcome. Weerribben-Wieden, Giethoorn, Blokzijl, the Amsterdam Lake District, and numerous hiking and biking routes (including pilgrim routes) are all within easy reach. Our accommodation is in a monumental building and unfortunately not suitable for disabled people. This is due to the stairs to the top and stairs to the living room. The toilet is also only on the ground floor. Breakfast is optional and costs €12,50 p.p. We will serve breads, eggs, juices, yoghurt and fruits. Coffee and tea is free of use available.

At the edge of National Park Weerribben-Wieden, lies our holiday home located on the meadows. Enjoy nature and tranquility, but also a perfect base for exploring the Weerribben-Wieden. The towns of Kalenberg, Blokzijl, Giethoorn and Dwarsgracht are within cycling distance. Or rent a boat to view the Weerribben from the water.
