What a hidden gem The Nest is and what fabulous hosts Wendy and Steve are. Our Easter weekend break was fantastic. Communication and directions were excellent and The Nest was exactly as described. The Nest has everything you need and is spotlessly clean. A super comfy bed, a good shower and toasty warm. The towels and bedding smelt beautiful. Using the small area on the landing for fridge, microwave and kettle is an excellent use of space. We were lucky to have good weather and the outdoor seating area for The Nest was a perfect pretty place to sit and enjoy the sunshine and the garden. We were even lucky enough to have Wendy's gorgeous cat come and say hello in the garden! The Nest is in a good location for visiting places in the area and we would definitely stay here again. Highly recommended.

We loved our stay at Karen's. Cosy and pretty flat with everything you need. Well equipped and felt very homely. Great location for exploring Herefordshire and very beautiful countryside just outside on your doorstep! Lovely walks and peaceful setting. Karen was super friendly, helpful and kind. The Old Dairy is a beautifully built new annexe creating a peaceful environment with stunning oak beams, amazing soft towels and sumptuous bed linen. There is a lovely shower in the bathroom which is downstairs. Tea, coffee, museli, biscuits and milk were provided too! Bringing a Dog? The outside area is shared with the owner and fully fenced and gated. You may meet the owner’s small spaniels but they are friendly. There is a basket of towels, bowls, treats and a blanket to put on the sofa. Dogs are only permitted downstairs and a freestanding stair gate is already provided. You can walk to the main village with shops and cafe and pub etc. Yet it is so peaceful that at night you can hear the owls and a fabulous dawn chorus. Thank you Nicole x

Our stay at Pearl’s place was great. A lovely peaceful cottage near to beautiful walks up local dams and the cute bookshop village Hay on Wye. Pearl and John were super hosts. Whether it was making sure our place was warm upon arrival (it was a cold, wet February), well stocked with coffee, teaching us pottery in the studio, or introducing us to the newly born calf on the farm. Thank you!
