We loved our stay at Karen's. Cosy and pretty flat with everything you need. Well equipped and felt very homely. Great location for exploring Herefordshire and very beautiful countryside just outside on your doorstep! Lovely walks and peaceful setting. Karen was super friendly, helpful and kind. Lovely historic cottage attached to the main house. Well maintained with good quality fittings. Note there is a water softener fitted, so there is a separate tap for drinking water. There are a couple of dogs and cats next door, as well as chickens and a guinea fowl who occasionally appear in the garden, much to the dog's surprise. There is plenty of attractions around, a couple of National Trust houses and the market towns of Ludlow, Leominster and Presteigne.

The Old Dairy is a beautifully built new annexe creating a peaceful environment with stunning oak beams, amazing soft towels and sumptuous bed linen. There is a lovely shower in the bathroom which is downstairs. Tea, coffee, museli, biscuits and milk were provided too! Bringing a Dog? The outside area is shared with the owner and fully fenced and gated. You may meet the owner’s small spaniels but they are friendly. There is a basket of towels, bowls, treats and a blanket to put on the sofa. Dogs are only permitted downstairs and a freestanding stair gate is already provided. You can walk to the main village with shops and cafe and pub etc. Yet it is so peaceful that at night you can hear the owls and a fabulous dawn chorus. Thank you Nicole x

Andrea was friendly , approachable and helpful. She signposted me to great walks, shared her amazing gardening and wildlife knowledge and even came to fetch me when I got lost on a walk! A great host, a wonderful welcoming accomodation and a really comfortable and well needed rest. Thank you so much. I would be back in a heartbeat! Sandy
