Monthly Rentals in Stanton in Peak

Lovely little place for a weekend stay in the Peak District. It is in a perfect location for exploring, with many places just a short drive away, as well as some lovely walks in the local area that you can do from the doorstep. The chalet has everything you need for a short stay, including delicious homemade bread and enough cooking equipment to make simple meals. I would highly recommend! (And if you like dogs, Ben the friendly golden retriever is lovely).

We loved our stay at Lisa and Paul’s place. The Garden Nook is stylishly and thoughtfully designed to maximise the stunning views of the Derbyshire Dales, while providing a lovely indoor space in which to relax and enjoy home-cooked meals from the well-equipped kitchen. We particularly appreciated the opportunity to stay during the busy lambing season, and felt included in the bustle (we were offered and very much enjoyed a tour of the “maternity suite”!) while also having our own private space. Great location for Chatsworth (including the excellent farm shop) and many countryside walks. Thank you both!

My husband and I stayed at the old barn with our two children (aged 1 and 3) and it was the perfect family getaway. The house is even nicer than the pictures and we had everything we could need for a home away from home. Sharon was in contact with us whenever we needed but we still felt like we had the place to ourselves. The village shop is open 365 days a week which was extremely helpful for us as we were there during the Easter bank holiday. We also drove to Matlock Farm Park and Dovedale while we were there. There is so much more in the area we would love to do so we will definitely be visiting again. Highly recommended- especially for families with young children!

the cottage is beautiful, right next to a gorgeous woodland with loads of bluebells when we went (April), birds everywhere, lovely fireplace, great book collection, secluded and peaceful, attentive host who left treats for us...a great place to explore the peaks...highly recommended and we hope to come back!
