Stayed one night whilst attending a championship Dog show at Stafford Showground. Sarah was very accommodating and helpful from initial enquiries to the actual stay. Would definitely recommend

Beautiful location. Own parking area. Clean tidy rooms. Bathroom had a jacuzzi bath which was a god send after all the walks. Selection of cereal in room along with plenty of tea and coffee and a pint of milk in the fridge. Claire and Robbie were great hosts. Gave us a run down of Castleton and where to go. Friendly banter and made us feel very welcome. They were very responsive to anything we asked. Highly recommend this as a place to stay as it is accessible to so many walks including Mam Tor and Castleton has numerous pubs and restaurants to choose in such a small area so there is always somewhere to have refreshment and nourish after a walking day. Lorely’s place was the perfect long weekend getaway from the hustle and bustle of city life. She and her husband were friendly, flexible, helpful and always so responsive to messages. The home is as beautiful as the photos - such a wonderfully interesting space! Unwinding in front of the fire every evening was on of our favourite things to do. We also fell totally in love with Lulu the cat. She is an outdoor cat and apparently happy to stay away if guests aren’t up for her to be inside, but we simply adored her and loved when she graced us with visits. Cuddly and delightfully chill. Our 4 year old managed the curvy staircase well and thought it was fun to sleep on the pull out. Beds were comfortable and it stayed a good temp all night. Fridge is small and there were limited basic ingredients available so not really set up for a full food shop, but it was fine for a short trip. Shop is only a 5 min drive away and easy enough to grab dinner from every day. Loved our stay - thank you!

Nice house in fantastic grounds which provided for wonderful runs and walks on private paths each day.

We had a lovely stay in Buxton! The location was perfect for exploring the area – we visited the Cavern Pool Cavern and had an amazing experience. It was truly a great trip overall. Highly recommend staying here!

What a beautiful room, and bathroom, in such a stunning house, and wonderfully furnished. The breakfast was just right too. A very peaceful and comfortable place to stay, would love to return.

Had the pleasure of staying at Marie’s residence for 2 weeks. She’s one of the best hosts one could hope for, as she’s very responsive and kind. The place was as advertised, private and peaceful. The breakfast spread was a delight as the jams and honey were organic. Marie and her husband were wonderful hosts and I look forward to seeing them again.

Lovely little rooms above a quaint little pub. An extremely likeable area and everything in sight looked well maintained and looked after. Food T the Saracen’s Head I cannot fault and service was excellent

Comfy bed, hot shower and a friendly reception from Anne and other staff in the tea room made for a perfectly peaceful night away; exactly what we were after. A great location for interesting walks from the door - we walked down the valley to Matlock Bath and then on to Matlock via High Tor. Bonsall itself has plenty to enjoy. Superb service at breakfast - delicious food served quickly. Highly recommend.

Absolutely loved my stay at Mark’s apartment in the heart of Manchester! The location is unbeatable—right in the centre with everything just a short walk away. The apartment itself is stunning: the spacious lounge is perfect for relaxing or entertaining, and the views from the windows are truly impressive, offering a gorgeous cityscape both day and night. One of the real highlights was the rooftop garden—a peaceful oasis above the hustle and bustle, perfect for morning coffee or an evening wind-down. Mark was incredibly accommodating and welcoming, making the whole experience smooth and enjoyable from start to finish. The place is stylish, clean, and thoughtfully put together—I felt instantly at home and slept beautifully every night. I genuinely didn’t want to leave and will definitely be back. Highly recommend!

Having stayed at Ken’s last year I booked to stay again this year as it’s very close to Lilleshall National Sports Centre, ken and his wife are great, they have a lovely clean comfortable home, I am staying again in a couple of months time as it’s my go to place when in Telford

Second time visiting and once again totally worth it. It truly was a special short trip made even lovelier by Andrew. The room and kitchenette were spotless and beautiful with such a warm, welcoming appearance and feeling. I hope to come visit again thank you so much! Wish I could give a higher rating.

Absolutely wonderful hosts and a wonderful place to stay in the heart of Bakewell. The room was lovely and had everything we needed, the breakfast was lovely in the sister venue too and we felt really well looked after. Would 100% book to stay here again on a future visit.

We had a lovely Easter weekend staying at Tracey’s. Tracey couldn’t do enough for us she was very welcoming and helpful. The accommodation was clean and the rooms were comfortable for 2 adults, a toddler, a teenager and 2 dogs. Definitely booking again for next year. Thank you Tracey.

We stayed with Leanda & Nige for our wedding anniversary, the perfect place to escape to for peace and quiet and beautiful surroundings. They were fabulous hosts, easy to talk to and really helpful. Our room was beautifully decorated and super clean with great views. We were fortunate to have amazing weather during our two night stay so were able to make use of the garden and take in the beautiful surroundings. We especially enjoyed sitting on the settee on the decking early evening watching the wildlife with a g&t. We loved having a fuss with their gorgeous girls; their two friendly cockerpoos. We also enjoyed a filling, tasty breakfast each morning. The local pub is literally a 5minute walk down the road and serves good food. We have no hesitation in recommending Leanda and Nige's B&B and hope to have a return visit soon.
