We had an excellent stay at Scott’s place. The house had all amenities required and more! Therefore, we didn’t need to contact Scott, however he did check in with us to see if all was well. Would definitely stay here again

Very good cottage in secluded location with amazing views. Modern interior that has been well designed and had more than enough space for the 6 people staying there. Tina was a very good host with proactive communication so couldn’t have asked for more. Good recommendation to go to Hetty’s for breakfast Really enjoyed our short stay and would book again if we were in the area

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Old Barn. The host, Sharon, gave us a warm welcome and a warm farewell, and even baked a delicious lemon cake for us. The cottage is lovely, and had everything we needed as visitors. The décor was very tasteful, and we felt really comfortable during our stay. All of the bedrooms were lovely, but the upstairs bedroom and bathroom were fit for a king! We’d certainly recommend this cottage to other guests, as it’s in a quiet location but there’s so much around to do. Give it a try!

We had a lovely stay at Ed and Charlottes, the perfect spot to explore from. The cottage was spotless and exactly as listed with lovely scenery and stocked with the essentials for our stay we were even treated to a delicious bowl of fresh strawberries on our final morning. The place was easy to find and the prearrival instructions easy to follow and had really helpful information on local taxis and places to eat nearby perfect for our stay. It was a quick couple of days stay in a very cute accommodation and the scenery was outstanding. Karen greeted us on arrival and offered us milk for a nice cup of tea. Would highly recommend for a quick getaway in the countryside and close enough to town.

My friend and I stayed for 2 nights. Communication with the host was great. We loved the picturesque and peaceful surroundings. The cottage was very clean with everything we needed. Highly recommended.

Lizzie’s place was perfect for our family of four. It was quiet and peaceful, very clean and had all the amenities we needed, including to cook some meals. It is well located to explore the Peak District and nearby towns. There are also some nice walks from the property and lots of great places to eat nearby (e.g. Elephant & Peackock and Spotted Cow). Thank you to Lizzie for being a great host!

Would absolutely recommend Kathy's lovely cottage. Beautifully decorated and had everything provided that you could want. Fantastic location so close to Baslow and Chatsworth. Great to have a private drive and garden and we even got enough sun to sit out on the patio and have a bbq! Kathy was really helpful and prompt in replying when I had a couple of questions. Thank you for a fab stay.

Amazing little place, on arrival, Nicky had already made checkin super easy and we had a very comfortable stay. Could not fault at all.

We had a wonderful stay here for 2 nights as we went to an event at the NEC. It is in a beautiful location with lots of animals to meet and we particularly enjoyed meeting Winston, Wallace and Wellington the pigs! Both Tina and Martin were extremely friendly and welcoming. It was spotless, cosy and had everything you needed for a comfortable stay. The xbox and boardgames were a great touch! We will definitely be returning and highly recommend!

Bob and Paula were lovely hosts. Welcomed us on arrival and made us feel at home. Great accommodation, though it truth we only really used it as a base, as we spent the majority of our time out and about. Nevertheless we had very comfortable and cosy evenings in the accommodation. A great touch was the small enclosure where we could let our cockapoo, Paddy, have a run about without him actually running off! I have already recommended it to a work colleague who is looking to visit the area in the near future.

Thank’s Val, we’ve had a wonderful stay at your place. The wine, cheese, and crackers were such a thoughtful touch, The accommodation was excellent, and clean, with a lovely outdoor space to sit and enjoy the sunshine. The mattress was really comfortable, even better than our own mattress at home. Having easy and accessible parking was great. Val gave us some fantastic recommendations — Curbar Edge was a stunning spot with beautiful views across the valley. We also visited The Chequers pub/restaurant and really enjoyed it — thank you for the tip! If we’re in the area again, we’d have no problems booking again.

We have just returned from a stay at The Stables. We both loved the accommodation and the location. The hosts made us feel very welcome and there was some lovely touches inside for when we arrived. The location is very peaceful and tucked away but also within walking distance of several pubs all serving good quality food for reasonable prices. We would recommend and come back again without question.

My husband and I had a wonderful stay. The location is peaceful, with a couple of pubs within walking distance. There are plenty of walks starting from Bonsall and it's just a short drive to other destinations like Bakewell. The home itself is beautifully decorated and very relaxing—we especially enjoyed a couple of sunny evenings in the outdoor area surrounded by the wildflower garden. Flossie the cat was very friendly and we loved having cuddles with her! Amy was also friendly and communicative. Overall, a peaceful and thoroughly enjoyable weekend away.

Massive thank you to Paul and Sarah. We had a truly fantastic time, our daughter loved being a mini farmer for the weekend, she has not stopped talking about our stay since we have arrived home! Paul was very responsive to any questions we had, the accommodation was clean and had everything we wanted and more! We loved the location and having such beautiful walks right from the doorstep. Lovely stay at Adam’s home. Really clean and tidy and left lots of breakfast bits which was a lovely touch!

This place is incredible, so peaceful. We had our two children with us the space was perfect for spending quality time just the four of us, fun and games in the garden in the day and peaceful evenings be the fire pit absolutely perfect will 100 percent be returning. John was also very fast to be helpful with anything we needed as far as giving me a heads up with traffic on my route, fantastic host

We had a lovely couple of days, the accommodation was clean and as described and Mark & Hilary very friendly. Kitchen had everything we needed, not that we cooked with so many pubs, cafes and bakeries within walking distance, the milk vending machine next door was an added bonus, the milkshakes were delicious! Pebble says thanks for the dog treats too, he enjoyed them! A fabulous base for dog walks and cycle rides.

We recently stayed at Atlow Mill for our Golden Wedding Anniversary. 6 Adults and 4 Children aged 3, 5, 9 and 11 years old. James welcomed us to the property and explained how everything worked and local places to eat and visit. Everyone had a super time. The Mill is located in a quiet scenic location, well equipped and ideal for a large family gathering. The hot tub was well appreciated as was the gas bbq. We ran out of time to use the outside pizza oven. All the children loved playing on the rope swing in the outside barn. Needless to say, all the family look forward to going again.

The cottage is in a lovely spot on their working farm. Light and spacious and had everything we needed for a few days' stay. Sam and her family also went above and beyond to help us recover our car key after we dropped it down a 6 foot gap, we would have been stranded without their kindness!
