Vacation rentals with outdoor seating in Sri Lanka

We loved our stay! The garden and pool were terrific, the staff was very nice and the Place was super clean!

First of all, I would like to thank the service staff, they are very helpful and friendly. The villa and furniture are very beautiful and elegant, one of the most beautiful villas we have visited, but there are some comments. The price is very high compared to the area, and there is a very, very large problem with flies, and I think it is because of the adjacent land, which is full of dirt. Also, the curtains in the bedrooms do not block the sun well, and there is no air conditioning in the sitting area or in the kitchen.

We only stayed for one night on our way from Colombo to Ella, but we had a very nice, relaxing time at Maya's place, which was just what we needed.

Beautiful villa with abundant space, verandah-style living, a great pool, and spotlessly clean. A short tuk-tuk ride away from Galle Fort and 10 minutes to the beaches of Unawatuna. The villa itself whilst in quite a busy part, enables a highly peaceful and relaxing holiday. We spent just over a week there and the caretaker (Fayas) went above and beyond to ensure we had everything we needed, and the chef (Rizwan) cooked us numerous and varied breakfasts, allowing us to sample delicious traditional food we’d not had before. Check in and out during very early morning due to flight times were also accommodated. Overall we had a great holiday at the villa and would highly recommend.

Lovely stay. Location is outstanding, straight onto the beach. Sashi - the house keeper - is as kind as it gets and cooks amazing dishes. We celebrated our daughter's birthday and she came with a gift, not only for the birthday girl but also her sister... So kind.

I absolutely loved my stay at the wooden gates, will definitely come back again :) I couldn’t have asked for a better host, Channa and family was so kind lovely and helpful, I felt right at home, peaceful safe and calming I loved the interior of the house with beautifully decorated designs and art, the outdoor porch and the garden was perfect to just sit and observe the wildlife Great accommodation for anyone wanting a peaceful vacation

We had a stellar stay at Lilypad. Jamie & Angela made sure to take care of everything from before check-in to after check-out. The villa is beautiful with a lovely pool one can relax by. Everything is spotless clean. Pamod, the housekeeper is super. He's efficient, non-intrusive and helps with anything you ask for. I highly recommend Lilypad!

Sebastian’s place was a great place to unwind after lots of flights… arrived late at night. Spent 2 nights so a whole day to chill. Pool was lovely and great size, set amongst a lovely tropical garden. Sebastian was so SO helpful and we asked lots of annoying questions. BREAKFAST WAS DELICIOUS. His driver Mr Neluka that he had suggested was super lovely, great English and gave us heaps of info. Drove us to Kandy via elephant orphanage. We had a fab lunch together. If he’s an available hopefully we will be able to have again during our three weeks here. Where the Airbnb is situated is not touristy. Easy reach from Colombo and Negombo alike. Easy to Uber or Pick me apps for a TukTuk. Supermarket close by. This was perfect for us. Thank you for your patience and kindness. I hope one day you can visit our Airbnb in NZ.

Would definitely return again to Faahim’s in a heartbeat. The Airbnb really felt like home and all the facilities for my family were great. Faahim and his father are so friendly and we really enjoyed the stay.

It is not my first time when I stay at Thushi’s place, and I always happy about it, it is a gem 💎 Thanks to Thushi, and to everyone who manages the apartment

First, Irushi was a great host. She communicated early and was very responsive and was very accommodating to our questions and requests. Very sweet and nice. The place was excellent. Very clean and comfy and with all amenities and best of all a fully equipped kitchen. It was well worth the price and I wouldn’t definitely come here again.

Nice place! The area is not the nicest but this is negombo in general. But it provides a variety of good restaurants and dilan even had some tips for us. Thanks!

This is a very wonderful stay, the overall feeling is very good. You can see the sea👍🏻 from the bed, and I saw a super beautiful sunset on the first day. Every night, accompanied by the sound of the waves, this natural white noise🛌, the host also prepared fruit, very delicious😋 It's a little bit far from the central attractions,🛺 5 minutes by tuk-tuk to the town, but that's the great thing, because you can avoid a lot of the attraction salespeople Anyway, it's fantastic. My friends and I really want to continue staying.

Our stay at the Banana Leaf Apartments was simply fantastic! The accommodation is quiet and surrounded by beautiful nature. The apartment was very clean, stylishly furnished and equipped with everything you need. A huge thank you goes to Amila. He was incredibly friendly, helpful and always there for us when we had questions or requests. His cordiality and hospitality really made our stay special. You can feel that he cares about the well-being of his guests. Also a big thank you to Hannah for the loving communication and organization! We would come back anytime and can highly recommend this place.

As soon as we arrived, Chanuka received us with sincerity. Their welcome drinks were amazing. The house was as beautiful as the pictures. We were impressed by the sincerity of their entire family. And the check-out day was truly amazing. They organized breakfast and lunch for us. We had a wonderful few days. Those who want to visit Galle can rest assured in this house. Great place to stay in Colombo! The apartment is clean, confortable, and spacious. We loved the views of Colombo from the roof. Leedon was responsive and easy to communicate with.

This was our first time visiting Sri Lanka and Nilaveli was the first stop. The rooms are immaculate, very homely and everything is clean and well maintained. The facilities at the complex are plenty. Loved the view from the balcony facing right towards the Sea ! Ghazzali was extremely cooperative and helpful throughout the stay. Highly recommend this spot and will definitely be back !

Great views of the ocean and it’s a nice cozy apartment with decent amenities! The host Susan, is always responsive.

We had a good stay in Gihan’s place, he is a friendly and kind host same for his family and the beautiful dog Leo. They tried to accommodate us in the best possible way which we appreciate very much, giving us a bigger room and providing us with better internet solutions (60GB for 7 days) which is usually only 2GB per day and not unlimited. It’s great that they provide a kitchen for the guests, it’s an outdoor kitchen though which caused us some trouble due to many insects. So keep in mind to store all foods in the fridge. There are many mosquitoes at the property which gave us hard time and also without air conditioning is very very hot and is difficult to sleep. At least while staying there in the beginning of November We can recommend the place, but consider to bring mosquito spray and to a room with AC. If you need to work or use the internet a lot, buy a local SIM Card too. We wish Gihan and his Family all the best.

We had a beautiful experience at this Airbnb. What an amazing apartment beautifully decorated , so modern and amazing furniture including the beds and bathrooms were wonderful. Lovely security person very helpful and kind. We would recommend this first class place and definitely come back again. Thanks x

Absolutely lovely space with gorgeous private gardens. I wish I could’ve stayed longer to enjoy it during the day! Perfect spot close to the airport and cafes, took me 20 mins by tuktuk. Little apartment was perfect and clean, I will be back! Thank you
